Top-Selling Kids Games for the Nintendo Wii

There are some amazing games for kids available on the Nintendo Wii platform, which are far more interactive than kid’s games available in other consoles. All these games carry an ‘E’ rating, which means that they’re suitable for children aged 10 and above.

Here’s a list containing a handful of the best Wii kid’s games that are sure to provide kids with hours of entertainment and fun:

Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel

This is simply the most popular Wii kid’s game around. It’s appeared at the top of the best seller list for the last two years. The game was released in November 2007 and comes packaged with the Wii Wheel which can hold the Wii Remote. Kids love playing around with the humorous ‘Pow Block’ and ‘Mega Mushroom’ power-ups. Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga

Wii Play with Wii Remote holds the record for being the best-selling bundled game ever, with global sales touching 23 million copies.


Active Life Outdoor Challenge for Wii

Active Life Outdoor Challenge promises to engage the kids in some form of physical exercise, so that they‘re not sitting on the sofa for hours. The game also comes with a gaming mat for transporting the kids to a virtual outdoor environment. The game play of games such as Mine-Cart Adventure, River Rafting, Jump Rope, Log Jumping, See-Saw and Water Trampoline is intuitive and can be played singly or in co-op mode with friends. My four year old son really likes the Wii Sports Resort, Mario Kart, and Super Mario Brothers. He has a hard time moving the characters around on the Star Wars game, but he still really likes to play it with his Dad. Thanks for the additional recommendations!
