TranZit Zombies Guide for Making MOST Money in First Few Rounds Black Ops 2 ( BO2 )

Intro

In this guide I will talk about how you can go about making the most amount of money in the first few rounds of playing TranZit zombies on Call Of Duty Black Ops 2. I will talk about the weapons, strategy, and overall what you should do that will set you up for the whole rest of the game.

Before I get started let me say that if you ave any questions feel free to shoot me a message on Twitter @Johnrr631992 or Twitter.com/Johnrr631992 .

Also you can send me a message directly to Xbox @ MKS JohnR ...

What is TranZit Zombies

TranZit zombies refers to the game mode Zombies which is the BIGGEST zombies map that Treyarch has implemented. It features a whole bunch of mini maps in which you can use a broken down bus to get driven from place to place. The map is a lot of fun which allows you to try out many different methods, try out many different places, and get a new experience from zombies that you wouldn't have previously experienced before.

Making Money

To make money in the first few rounds you should follow a few patterns. As you have seen from some of the Youtube videos, some players may have as much as 10K coins by round 5-10... With that being said there are a few things that you should do...

FIRST OFF- Knife... Very simpler.. the first 3 rounds you should only be using your knife in order to get the kills needed on zombies.. This has been true for every zombies map, but is especially trueon this game mode...By using your knife you will get the most points possible out of your knife...

Second.. Your Pistol.. If you get zombies in a row, and shoot a few pistol rounds into them in early rounds you will be able to knife them after and maximize points.. I usually shoot each zombie 3 times on round 1, then a knife to max out my points...

THIRD.. The power machine... In the beginning your have the option of creating a turbine.. THIS IS THE BEST way for you to save money in early rounds.. First off it saves you money in the first location by allowing you to not use you money to open the main door, and gets you outside... Second off it will allow you to get into the mystery box location without having to spend an additional amount of coins.. This machine will significantly allow you to get further with minimum bullets.

FOURTH.. Don't buy the shotgun.. Be smart about the weapons that you are going to buy.. The more powerful the weapon the less points you will get for said weapon.. It does not make ANY sense for you to use these weapons in the first few rounds since you are building up the money for later rounds...

FIFTH... Try not to replenish ammo, or buy things on the way to the mystery box.. I have seen people buy the pistol on the bus, and re-buy ammo 2 or 3 times on the way to the first station.. This is not smart if you are trying to save money, and do not do this..

Overall Strategy..

Your overall strategy should be to save ammo and to not use your bullets, but instead use a knife.. This is very important to remember on the early rounds..

Also don't be stupid.. Try not to go down.. This just literally waste your money, and gives it to teammates.. Your overall goal is for everyone to survive and do good... Not just 1 person, so you should overall be trying to be successful as a group.

When aiming a weapon try to aim for the head. If you are going to shoot remember headshots pay more money than body shots, so this means you should focus on headshots, and not focus on body shots. This is overall a good strategy for you to follow.

Have Fun

Overall have fun. That is the point of the zombies game mode, that you are supposed to have fun when playing, and to get the most out of the game. if you play it right you will get further but at the same time, don't stress to hard early on. Get used to the maps, the secrets, and the many benefits of playing on the game.

Summary

So overall just remember that you should save ammo, knife, and save money by using the tools the game has provided.. Also try to take full advantage of the mystery box.. This will allow you to have the most success out of playing the game, and doing significantly better than your friends in the game. Thanks for reading and please feel free to comment below if you have any questions that you would like to ask.

im the first to comment sweet anyway i just shoot and knife and leave the spawn room at about round 2 with the fan and i don't waste money turning on the power i use the fan on the perk machine and that powers them which gives me the chance to buy them and if i need a new fan i go to the spawn room again and get a new one. I don't really like turning on the power that much because u can just use the fan and u don't have to buy the gavaknuckles to take out that electric guy even though u can use ur kinfe, anyway one thing i never knew was that u could teleport with those light things. anyway overall this is a great hub keep it comin!

ur welcome and i know there a ton info out there and on this website.... but anyway talk to u later

I actually thought the gun on the bus was a good choice, I mean, compared to the starting gun, it's a hell of a lot more powerful, and its a fairly cheap gun too. Sure, you're still better off waiting until you reach the box, but hey. You don't really start with much ammo for the pistol, which is really weak, right? I think if you get a max ammo, don't buy the gun. But if you've run out of ammo, its pretty reliable.

Also, mw3fanatic, I've heard that the perks don't take effect until you turn the power on... I haven't actually seen proof of this, but I think it makes sense.

And finally, something my brothers and I saw one time. My younger brothers were playing with 2 of their friends. The older of my brothers had already died, the younger was at the bus stop (the one you spawn at), and their friends were at the diner. My brother got downed, and while he was stuck there, we got to watch the zombies sprint past, heading for the diner. Looked funny as hell.

im not bragging or trying to be rude Wraith but you are wrong about one thing, if u get the fan from the spawn room and put it in front or next to perk machine it will turn it on and u can buy it, but the fan will break after 1-5 minutes of doing this and i have tried it on singleplayer and splitscreen but do not know if this will work online, type this into ur computer on utube and ul see wat i mean. (black ops 2 zombies turbine powered perks

, and again i mean no disrespect peace

Wraith 3 years ago

Hmm... I could've sworn I read somewhere that perks don't go active until you turn the main power on... Well, I wouldn't be very surprised either way. (Especially since I haven't exactly played yet. XD)

Hey guys, thanks for keeping it peaceful :).. Umm yes you can buy perks with a turbine.. The effect the perks have on the body may not be 100% BUT I am not sure of that, none the less you can buy perks with the turbine, and supposedly they do take full effect.. Also this works for ANY of the machines.. Also this works if you EMP grenade the bus driver, the turbine will bring him back to life..

i knew it

Wraith 3 years ago

Okay, from the first video result I got from searching "black ops 2 turbine perks" on Google, it seems that the perk machine must have power for the perks to actually take effect. Meaning, you either need to have a turbine next to the perk machine or you have to have the power on. I will try to get younger brothers to help me test this later.

Also, EMP grenades can temporarily disable perks machines, but I don't know if that cancels the perk effects on the people who have the perk. They can also disable all of a person's perks in Grief mode, but I don't know if they do that in Co-Op too.

Yes wraith, that is what we are saying.. A perk machine must have power for it to work, but a turbine can work as a power source..

mw3fanatic1 profile image

mw3fanatic1 3 years ago

anyway..........it seems like after u play zombie a ton when u go back to maps like kino there really easy because ur so good?

And r u saying that with the turbine when u put it next to the perk machine it wont work or it wont have the same effect as in when u turn on the power, but i don't like turning on the power because that electric guy!

Roryh666 3 years ago

My strategy I feel is pretty good. I play solo a lot as theres always one person in multiplayer who quits halfway through a game if they are downed, which is extremely frustrating if you have been playing for an hour or so. When the game begins, I immediately build the turbine and buy the revive perk. Then knife a few zombies but leave a few. Open the door with the turbine (grab the bus part), get on the bus straight away and get to the diner. Once there, I then use the turbine to open the shed door and grab the next bus part. Hopefully one of the bus parts is the hatch, in which case I open the diner door and attach the hatch to the roof ready for galvaknuckles later (galvas are a must have in my opinion). I then kill the last couple of zombies and then start round 2. I basically then knife and shoot zombies until I have 6000 for the galvaknuckles, then purchase straight away (1 hit kill on all zombies up to level 14, 2 hit kill for electric zombie for entire game). You also get 130 points for every knife kill which really adds up. I also purchase the mp5 after or before galvas. Then I just run around killing zombies and racking up points until I get to around level 5 or 6, or whenever the bus comes back (usually have around 8-10k at this point as well as galvas, and I don't touch the mystery box until later on once I have all perks and more points) Then I get on the bus, next stop is the farm. Not much to do here at the moment apart from grab the other bus part from the barn (sometimes its not there), and then get back on the bus and head to the power station. Also forgot to mention that I usually leave 1 zombie when travelling on the bus. Let it get in the bus with you and run around it, which makes it incredibly easy to travel around without getting swamped with zombies. If a new round does accidentally start then the galvaknuckes on the bus are a godsend with the 1 hit kill. Anyway, at the powerstation I then turn on the power quickly and then get back on the bus before it leaves. Then once in town, I purchase the jugg and stamina perks. Also grab the last bus part if it was missing from one of the other places. Then travel back to the bus depot and grab a fresh new turbine (run the original one out if you still have it). Then head back to the diner. Once back at the diner you will now have 3 perks and the galvas (purchase the reload perk in the diner when u have enough points). I then usually go another round and finally get to open the mystery box. The only things I look for in the mystery box is the ray gun and the monkeys or emp grenades. I leave everything else alone. Reason being that later one I look to use the pack-a-punch for the ray gun and the handgun (good ol mustang and sally). I then basically go through the rounds and locations until I have the weapons I want before going to the town and assembling the pack-a-punch (turbine in the power station to open the bank hatch). Then after I have everything I need I then usually go back to the diner, grab a zombie shield and then head to the farm again. Its at the farm where you just use all the space at the front to maneuver around zombies and fly through the rounds. So far my best is round 46, which took a long time to get to. I ended up running out of ammo though, got downed and then dies before making it back to the town to get the jugg perk. Since then I have started using the jet gun, as its pretty effective and handy when you have no weapons. Takes a bit of getting use to though.

Try it, see how you get on. Also in response to others questions, the perks do not take effect unless the power is on, even if you have purchased them using the turbine. You need to keep the power on if you want the perks to stay active. Yes you will get the electric zombie but he's easy to kill. Depending on whether you have emps or monkeys, use emps for instant kill, or use the monkeys to distract zombies while you hit him twice with the galvaknuckles. Also a good tip is to let the zombies spwan and chase you for a while until they are in a massive line. Each shot that you take will travel through all the zombies and you will get loads of points, very handy in the earlier parts of the game. I have also started depositing money in the bank so that its immediately there if I decide to start a game another day (it holds up to 225,000 dollars). I also sometimes stick an LMG or grenade launcher in the fridge at the farm for those times when I do eventually run out of ammo.

I love solo mode but the only downer is that you can't progress any further into the story by getting the tower of babble etc, as this requires 4 people to achieve. Anyway hope you had a good read and learn't a few tips :)

WOW... Very interesting.. I will try this later on and let you know if I had success with it.. Sadly I haven't put a lot of effort into the later rounds of TranZit yet because I haven't had the time.. Either way, thanks for the tips, and I guess that relates back to wraith, and MW3.. So I guess you do need the power on for perks to take effect, even though you can buy them early.. Or maybe they only take partial effect because I have tried juggernog without the power on and it took more than 2 hits to put me down..

pizzayourpasta 3 years ago

The easiest way is to play store all your points in the bank then all you have to do is get them out next game

Johnrr631992 profile image

Johnrr631992 3 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author

Yes you can do that i suppose, but it is just as easy to play it once. Although utilizing the bank if very crucial for people.

mw3fanatic1 profile image

mw3fanatic1 3 years ago

yes but for other perks like speed cola it doesn't work, cuz i was playing with my friends and i bought it by putting the turbine next to it, but sadly it did not work, it only works if u utrn on the power but the cool thing is u can buy it and then turn on the power and use it. Anyway peace

Thanks for the info, WOW, I really thought that the perks took some effect without power on.. Although me and my team 99% of the time turn the power on right away anyway.. ALTHOUGH I do really like the strategy with the knuckles from the post above.

i second that

Wraith 3 years ago

Actually, I've heard that 2 people can complete the entire easter egg by wave 3 or 5 (some absurdly low number like that). HOWEVER, that assumes everyone knows all the part spawns, has plenty of cash in the bank, hits the box enough times to get the EMP nades, and has enough skill to pull it off.

Johnrr631992 profile image

Johnrr631992 3 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author

That's an awful lot of work early on.. WAY to much work for me... Plus right now I've been putting HOURS of work into the nuketown easter egg... I sadly don't even have time for tran zit as me and my team have been putting a LOT of effort into Nuketown, on a good note, we have found 2 songs NO ONE has found yet and posted, and we are getting close to it.

Wraith 3 years ago

If you get the ballistic knife from the box, knifing (not shooting) with it is a 1-hit kill until round 4 (around there). Even better: knifing with the ballistic knife when you have galvaknuckles means you have an electric knife. XD

Yes and no.. It is true that if someone clicks an ad, and makes a purchase, or subscribes to the site the person may get paid.. But I get paid for every person who reads the guides, hence why I have been writing here and not making Youtube videos this whole time, BUT the Youtube videos will come soon.

@Wraith.. That is interesting.. I like the ballistic knife because even at round 7-9 ish you can shoot it once, then knife someone to kill them, and it is pretty effective...

Wraith 3 years ago

DARN IT ALL!!! I got the galva-knuckles with ballistic knives again, and meleeing with them like that... no electric knife. You put the knives down, punch, then pull the knives out again.

Also, another little tid-bit. If you buy one melee 'upgrade,' you can purchase the other, but it will override your current melee. (So buying the galva-knuckles when you have the bowie knife will replace the knife, and vice versa. Yeah... I wasted 9k figuring that one out...)

mw3fanatic1 profile image

cool.....

Johnrr631992 profile image

Johnrr631992 3 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author

haha that's funny.. and kinda fail-ish.. haha

Wraith 3 years ago

Oh, I almost forgot. The ballistic knives do have a headshot multiplier, but the risk of losing a knife almost makes it not worth going for, and attempting to pick up a knife when you haven't reloaded (your ammo counter reads "0/4"), will waste the knife you're trying to pick up (your ammo counter will end up reading "1/3").

Johnrr631992 profile image

Johnrr631992 3 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author

I usually will not take the ballistic knives, but my example is, me and my buddy were playing zombies sabotage.. (Basically you trey to kill your teammate.. whoever has the most downs at the end of the game loses) and he hoarded me with zombies on round 5 and i was sidetracked and got stuck.. Well when I respawned the box gave me ballistic knife.. And to be honest it made me a lot of money on round 6.. BUT I would never take the ballistic knife over a gun on zombies.. It's just something good if you get stuck.. Although if you pack-a-punch it, it is worth getting if playing with a team.

Wraith 3 years ago

I happen to fully agree, but if your first box hit gives you the knives, just don't bother buying anything but perks until wave 5 (or even later, if you're good enough at getting the shoot-and-slash thing). I mean, sure you could make more points off a few shots with a weak weapon and then a knife, but it is a pretty good weapon for clearing early waves quickly.

Pretty unrelated funny thing: I was playing solo Tranzit once, and just screwing around on easy difficulty (in custom gametypes), first box hit: ballistic knives. Second hit: HAMR (immediately put that in the fridge). Third hit: ray gun. My reaction? "Wait. . . . . . . . what the hell? AWESOME!"

Johnrr631992 profile image

Johnrr631992 3 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author

HAHA that's awesome.. and yes I agree with the perks until 5+ with ballistic knife.. I to always get the opposite gun im hoping for in the box.. If I want a light machine gun.. i get the chicom.. If I need a ray gun.. I get the executioner.. It is really funny...

Wraith 3 years ago

Actually, what happened to me is NOTHING. My younger brothers were doing Nuketown splitscreen on easy, and the younger of the two kept getting the LMGs from the box. He wanted the M27, but it kept giving him the RPD, LSAT, and HAMR. All 3 of us were laughing our heads off.

Johnrr631992 profile image

Johnrr631992 3 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author

HAHA yah that's funny.. I think having 2 LMG's can be overrated on nuketown because of how much you need the ray gun at round 30+

Wraith 3 years ago

Well, pretty much any gun is turned into a viable long-term weapon by Double Tap 2.0, even the M14 (and if you're REALLY desperate enough, the M1911)! On the other hand, I'm not entirely sure if the Ray Gun shoots double projectiles with Double Tap... eh. Never really bothered to pay that much attention to it, lol.

Johnrr631992 profile image

Johnrr631992 3 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author

No it doesn't really shoot double projectiles, but really has an increased fire rate which is kinda nice.

I haven't actually used the new perk yet, BUT i have already started posting videos for die rise. I really like the dlc, including the peacekeeper.. Overall I think it's all great, and cannot wait for more.

Season pass will cover every release that will be given out for Black Ops 2.. The revolution pack, and future packs they release later..

Plus, if you're planning to get all 4 DLC packs, you can get the Season Pass and save $10! Better deal than getting Elite for MW3, lol.
