Visconti is unquestionably recognized as one of the premier writing instruments in the world. Their world headquarters is located in a charming 15thcentury villa in Florence, Italy. The Visconti creations will take you back in history with themes ranging from philosophy, literature, archaeology, to art.
Visconti has also paid tribute to significant current events with some of their newest innovations in design. The brainchild and principal of this Florentine company is a personal friend of ours, Dante Del Vecchio and his company was founded in 1988. Dante demonstrates a passion for vintage pens and has blended a unique combination of old world craftsmanship, ancient and long-forgotten exotic compositions, and cutting-edge modern technology in the creation of luxury writing instruments, which are instantly recognizable.
Lets talk about durable compositions, Visconti works with the most reliable compositions in our industry, including celluloid which has endearingly been referred to by industry experts as “gold for the pen specialists”. In addition to an incredible line up of ballpoint, rollerball, and fountain pens Visconti is also recognized for some of the most desirable Limited Edition writing instruments the world has to offer. In fact, Visconti was the featured pen in the history making event at the signing of the NATO-Russia Summit on May 28, 2002, marking the end of the Cold War.
Visconti created the Divina G8 to recognize the July 2009 G8 Summit in L’Aquila, Italy. In fact, the Italian government selected this magnificent writing instrument for the official signing of the final protocols of the 2009 G8 Summit. This elegant fountain pen was then presented as a gift from the state to the attending world leaders. In commemoration of the G8 Summit this limited edition writing instrument is limited to only 2,009 worldwide. The striking black lucite barrel is accented with .925 Sterling Silver and the metallic G8 band was uniquely designed to honor the significant event. The crown of the pen is adorned with an enameled Italian Flag medallion.
Stated simply, Visconti is the world class writing instrument for the world class pen connoisseur.
