What is your favorite cigar?

So, with the political correctness of the new world looming overhead and the anti smoking police out in force, who out there still enjoys a good cigar? I have some preferences on my favorites that I will share with you, if you can please share yours. I ask this so people can learn about new cigars, or some common ones that they may not have tried.

I personally have the favorite of an Ashton 898. The connecticut wrapper and size make for a nice smooth, light smoke. I got turned onto these on a business trip to Washington D.C. back around 1998 or so. I don't know why I bought it other than it looked "clean". That was probably the best cigar I had ever smoke to that date.

I started smoking cigars around the age of 15, with my dad, while fishing to keep the mosquitoes and flies away. I usually only smoked the Tiparillo or White Owl cigares because they were not too expensive and not a big loss if you dropped it in the bottom of the wet boat or overboard.

Next on the list is "Rocky Patel" Vintage 1999. Again, another light cigar.

Some of the smokes I have been experimenting with lately are the Drew Estate line. I like the infused cigars (not flavored, it is a different process) as a change of pace from my usual smokes. They offer many varieties that will more than likely please most people.

Alas, I cannot smoke as much as I used to. Insurance policies keep me limited to one per month. So, I try to make it a great smoke and a real treat for the once a month I am allowed.

So, please share with us what your favorites are and why.

Thanks.
