In The Beginning
In the beginning was the nothingness.
I just arrived to sunny but cool Southern California, no work, no money, no car, (no) nothing to do.
But then at least there was the computer, there was the internet, there was the web, there was the nameless, faceless people on the other side of the monitor, the keyboard and the mouse.
And then there was the stories.
There was the story writing.
And I wrote my first book, yet to see print so anybody who could help me out please do.
Then there were other projects, three, at least two novels. There was a short story or two.
And then there was WhoOOPs. And if you don't know, it is short for Who's Out Of Place.
It was initially a series of game books. And I saw it as a game between two people or between two groups of people much like Family Feud.
But I wasn't discounting that it could very well be like the card game Solitaire. One which could be played by one who is alone or want to be left alone while waiting in line, for we seem to be a generation who has used up most of our time waiting in one in some form or another.
It was also meant to be a Are We There Yet Killer for those long drives, those bus and train rides and the flights to and fro we take every so often. This was for those long sleepless nights, those boring afternoon work hours, for those tiring waiting for customers to come in or call moments, and for those nothing happening graveyard shifts.
One for all ages.
All for one and one for all.
And now for the first time, it is here on the web, where the idea first got started.
The Circle of Life, you know.
Freely I receive, freely I give it back.
So to all of you fellow web travellers and to those who dream of making their first million, this is for you.
