   I usually play 4 or 5 hours of gaming a week. To me, it is more for relaxation purposes I know some of my friends who play 7 to 12 hours a day and that, to me, is a little too much.

      agreed.. anything more than 5 hours in a day gives me a terrible headache and not to mention the guilt over time I should have spent being productive. I'm sure being a busy college student and a great hubber would make it hard to play more anyways.

   Probably around 12 hours a day, starting from 7 AM. Why? Because I can. I play for review, for entertainment, for venting my anger and to get my daily dose of virtual bloodshed.

      It's not really a Hobby due to the fact that I make zero pennies, let alone pounds, out of it. But yes, I review out of honesty because, well, nobody else has the minerals to do so. Thanks for your comment ^^

   I play 3 to 4 hours a week. Playing video games is a relaxing process but at the same time "24x7 gaming" is not a good process and there are many cases which ends up in death due to gaming. So just play video games for a relaxing process.

      "Deep vein thrombosis" is one cause of death via gaming. It's when you sit still for so long that the blood doesn't move in your body, clotting and choking one to death. A silent and long death, the bane of lazy people.

   I seldom play video games now. Maybe it's less than 2 hours per week, I think. Most of the time, I just scan news and blogs that interest me.

      If you haven't played Skyrim yet that is an excellent game
      Borderlands 2 comes out in september, Resident Evil 6 comes out in october, Call of duty: black ops 2 comes out in november.... My husband and I are looking forward to all these very much.

   Sadly, this month zero hours a day.  The reason being is because my gaming PC died, so I'm working extra hours at a second job to save up money to buy parts to build a new PC in September. bwhahaha  =-P

      Get crackin on hubpages... maybe it'll pay for your computer parts... eventually ^_^ Building your own PC sounds hard... at least you should have it done just in time for some great games coming out.

      Kind of ironic, because not once in my life did I ever say I wanted to be a writer.  Now, I'm writing for three web sites, and I actually used stuff I wrote on HP as my portfolio to get the jobs.  In a sense I am indirectly making money off HP.  =-P

      Growing out? Oh I hope I never do. I want to be able to play video games with my grandkids and still be able to kick butt ^_^

   It varies. I can happily spend an entire weekend doing nothing but play games, or I can go for a few weeks without touching a single one. Those are the two extremes, though - it's usually somewhere in the middle.
   
   It depends on whether I actually have any games I want to play, and how involving they are (with some games, you can spend hours playing without even realising it, and with others you can only play for a few hours at a time before you need to take a break). And, also, whether I have anything else I want to get done during my free time (heh... no one ever asks how many hours a day a person spends reading)
   
   I suppose I could probably average it out to a couple of hours a day, overall.

      I love your answer ^_^  I can guarantee I'll be busy once borderlands 2 comes out... then its Resident evil 6 then Black ops 2....
      I think I play about the same as you ^_^   So how many hours a day do you spend reading? Me... 4-5.

    Still more then I really want, but it is still better than it was about a year ago - back then I played video games for more than 12h a day.
    Yeah, MMORPGs are addictive -_-.

    around  10 hours, i play a game called RS ,it waste money , i dont want to pay for the game gold at the site just like rsgoldservice.com  or igxe.com , even it is cheap .

    I spend about 1 to 2 hours each day during the week and about 4 to 5 hours each day on the weekend. About 15 to 20 hours a week. I've become more competitive on my PC games and that requires more time to play. Got out of my system gaming but while I was doing that I was logging around 40 hours a week. I also got married a few months ago... so that probably plays into my decrease in gaming time...

    I used to play games on a daily basis, playing up to 8 hours a day. That has slowed to a mere 6 or 7 hours a week, due to some real life issues. But I'm happy enough being able to play at all AND write reviews on video games .

    I am time-constrained by work and family throughout the week, so I usually spend 1-2 hours a day.  During the weekend, maybe anywhere between 2-4?  It just depends on what events I have going on for that week.

    5-6 hours a day when I'm not writing. I'm a pretty hardcore gamer, I used to game more like 12-14 hours a day when I was playing (semi) professionally and streaming on Twitch but it was getting in the way of my relationship with my girlfriend and friends.
