   Do you get upset when you significant other plays video games? If so why?
   
   Girls or Guys, do you get upset when your boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife plays video games? If you do, why? If you don't, why not? I hear a lot about girls getting upset when guys do. So, it would be interesting to hear if guys get upset with their girlfriends playing too much. I play video games a lot and so does my boyfriend. So neither one of us get mad at the other for playing. I'm just wondering how many of you do or don't?

   Heck no!  I love my video games, and I'd never be with someone who doesn't see them in the same way I do.   Best case scenario though is someone who wants to play them with me.

      I agree. My boyfriend and I play games with each other all the time. Occasionally he'll go play his own game and I"ll go play mine but we play together for the most part.

   No, most partners I have dated have enjoyed video games in some way or another.  Even simple flash games or games on the phone.  Though I am a heavy gamer, so I try to find a partner who enjoys it just as much as I do.

   I play Runescape.  My wife plays too.  She's a player mod, and we've been playing for nearly 8 years.  When I worked at a video store, the teenagers thought it was awesome that we played together!
   The first time she ever saw me playing, she stopped and said "That looks fun."  Now we often set aside 'date nights' when new content gets released.

   I think now days a lot of the younger generation looked past the stereotype that video games is a waste of time. Now a lot of people I know look at it as either a hobby, way to spend time with friends/significant other, or rare cases full time jobs.
   
   Because you got the WII which has a lot of games that whole families can enjoy, Facebook has those social games that both kids, and adults play.
   
   I think it all depends on how much they play games, and if they do is it because they get paid to like some popular YouTube Video game Commentators?
