   I used to have a lite brite when I was 7 or 8 years old.  Sometimes I would not always pick up the little color pegs, so eventually my Mom punished me by throwing it away.  I sure did miss creating pics with that thing!

   No, I keep my own stuff and I decide on which ones to keep or throw. I've given away most of them by now. My daughter now has loads of stuff, but I do ask her which ones she wants to keep and which ones she wants to give away. ^_^

   I never allowed my mother throw the toys. I still have toys with me but not my mother. I have fond memories associated with each and every toy and used to tell kids that keep these functional and preserve them as valuable gifts.

   No, she didn't. Right around 12-14 years old I had a 'yard sale'. Sold my malibu barbie, and ken dolls, the camper, and townhouse. I think I had just about every 'malibu' thing ever made. Kinda strange now that I look back, as a teenager I hung out at the beach, and still love to be in the sun. Never made the connection before.
   Wish I still had some of those barbie things, could of made a fortune on e-bay. (just kidding)

      exactly. pez dispensers too!  especially Santa, believe it or not, I saw them at an antique store, under a lock and key.

   well no she didn't, she always asked me to share my stuff and then when it is time to give away old toys and books she always used to ask me to do it. she never forced me so i made my little decisions and gave away my stuff from my hands that i wanted to.

   Some of them, some of them were given to my younger siblings. Either way I wish I was involved in the decision haha some of them have made their way back to me now that I have moved out which is nice.
