    Where do you read?

Me and my boyfriend have very small apartment and he's working most of his spare time and I don't have my peace for reading (clicking and typing all the time is making me crazy). I take my weekly bubble bath and I read, but I can't read all the time only in the bathroom! Where do you guys read? In the library, in the coffee shop, park?

First practical choice is in bed. If the weather is conducive, outside in the backyard. Absolutely tops is outdoors in a secluded campsite as far away from intrusion by civilization as possible.

I enjoy reading, whether it is a magazine, or natural health publication. In the summer I usually sit out on the deck and read. In the winter, i have a favorite spot, in the living room with a reading lamp, and blanket. I keep a magazine rack, and candles there, to make it "my space".

Anywhere. Most of the time it's on the bed, the couch, my desk chair, or the reading corner that I have set up. Why leave the house to go read? That doesn't make sense to me. First you have to drive there, deal with other people, then you can finally settle down to read but something will always distract you from your book. There's no place like home.

Of course there's no place like home, but if your home is full of distractions then you look for alternatives smile

Or learn how to focus. My hubby is always cooking or playing video games and the four cats really make a lot of noise when chasing each other.

I read anything and everything, anyplace I have a moment to spare. I have a Kindle that lives in my pocket. I sit down and will start reading. I have to stand in line, I start reading. I used to read when my kids were playing, with half my attention on them. Noise does not bother me, I can tune it out. Good luck finding a spot to read.

I mostly read at home, but also in the car if I'm waiting for something or someone.

Well I read on my breaks at work.  At home there are some places I read  In bed, I have a table and us the night feature so it doesn't bather my husband.  But if you are a book person and don't want to disturb your boyfriend you can buy a book light and they are not too much $20 or less.  I also have an armchair I sit in.  I love sitting and reading in it especially when it is pouring rain.  I always find rain peaceful.  I also take a book with me when I go to the laundry mat and sometimes I stop by a local Starbucks and when I work out at Planet Fitness.  You can probably read when you walk, i used to do that when I was in college and trying to do a last minute bit of studying while I walked to class.  you just have to be aware of other things around you.

My husband sometimes distract me and I may have to put my book down.  Distract by starting to talk about something he heard on the news.  A pair of earplugs may come in handy

Big armchair by the window, with music playing in my headphones while I read.
