   Personally, I like games like Dota 2 and Team Fortress 2. They are so much fun! All of them are on steam though. Dota 2 requires a beta key but it will soon be F2P. Team Fortress and Dota 2 are already available on Steam.

   I am enjoying Star Wars The Old Republic, but only  as a single player experience.  Also playing Planetside 2 a fair bit, and just started Tera, which is great fun!

   Warhammer: Age of Reckoning, an MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena), which is unfortunately closing down in late March due to financial difficulties. Shame really, it was one of the few I actually liked and seemed pretty well balanced. I'll be playing Team Fortress 2 and maybe try DotA, when the new laptop comes today for a boost in performance! If possible, edit your question or answer it and tell us yours - it'd sure give help those in need of a new F2P game such as myself ^^

   I am currently enjoying the Path of Exile although it is still in open beta it is an amazing game.
   
   It has game play similar to Diablo 2, features a FF10 sphere grid tech tree, and a FF7 materia type skill system. It is a online only game, and the game will require you to be cautious at times or you will die a lot. I would check the game out if you played and liked diablo 2, torchlight, sacred, and other games similar to those.

   I play Guild Wars 2 - it's amazing for a F2P.  I've also played a bit of Aion (from the same publishers) but even though it's gorgeous and has great gameplay, it's a bit too PvP oriented for me.

      Yep, GW1 and GW2 are both F2P after you buy the original games.  You can get GW1 on Steam, but I don't think GW2 is available yet.
      
      You should play it!  GW2 is amazing!  You can tell it was made by gamers.  They solve a lot of the main MMORPG issues.

   I have a feeling if I gave it more of a chance, I'd actually enjoy DC Universe Online. Just not ready to make that kind of commitment to another game.

      League of Legends is alright, but i prefer dota 2 better. Solely because that dota 2 has more depth

      More thoughts... I will be disinclined to buy any new console which does not allow you to play used games, attaching the new games you buy forever to your account. I rather get an OUYA.

   Banner Saga: Factions was a pleasant surprise to me. A turn-based tactics game on PC that is also f2p? Yes Please.
   
   My favorite is still probably Smite though. I've had many matches in that game and I just love the mythology theme.
