I was kind of taken aback when I saw the announcement. When the title of the xpac was circulating before Blizzcon I thought that it sounded great. I loved outland and have long thought it was under-utilized in xpacs since. There just seems like there would be so much room for new continents and classes (give us the freaking demon hunter already!).
So, when I discovered it was past versions of the places we have already been, I was kind of disappointed. Plus, I'm an alt-coholic, so with no new class or race, it leaves me little to look forward to on that front (except the improved heirloom system).
I do look forward to revisiting outland, even if it isn't quite outland, and I like the idea of the garrison and the personal housing (though seriously, why can't we get guild halls?) But, this is all normal for me. I expect one thing and they deliver another, but I end up enjoying it anyway. The people at Blizzard know what they're doing and they always deliver a fun experience.
Though, the last thing I'll say is, where the heck is our Emerald Dream expansion?
