Hi Mary, It depends on the condition of the trains- are they chipped? Ones that aren't chipped (much) are more valuable. My advice is to go to eBay and check out the search term "Thomas the Tank Engine Lot", and if they're all wooden, "Wooden Thomas the Tank Engine Lot" this will give you an idea of how much to charge for a big collection of track and trains. In addition, weigh the container of track so that you charge the correct amount for shipping the collection. Alternatively, you could also sell the trains individually or in small groups, and sell the track as a lot separately. You may make more money that way if you sell on eBay.
