Never end up on the trail of an assassin. The result is inevitable.

Assassin's Creed 3 On Johnson's Trail

In Assassin's Creed 3, Connor gets onto Johnson's trail, as Johnson prepares an enormous sum of money from his numerous dealings to buy over the natives' land, including the land that Connor's village lies on. Connor must first destroy Johnson's finance dealings to disrupt him buying the land. If that fails, Connor must assassinate Johnson. This is the sequence 6 of assassin's creed synchronization mission, and includes how to destroy the smuggled cargo goods, free the district of the templar influence, the angry chef, the tea party and hostile negotiations.

Assassin's Creed 3 Destroy the Smuggled Goods

Connor must fast travel to Boston. Here, after a meeting with Johnson, Connor is tasked to destroy the smuggled cargo stacks in order to disrupt Johnson's finances. Head to the exclamation mark on the map. Near each smuggled cargo stack will be some guards. Connor needs to defeat them by brute force or by assassination techniques. Next, plant some explosives on the smuggled cargo, or use powdered kegs and firearms on the cargo. Connor can still achieve his limit of firearms, even if he uses the powdered kegs.

Free the District of Templar Influence

With the powdered kegs destroyed, Connor must then free the central district of templar influence. To do this, wander around the waterfront until Connor is directed via yellow circles on the map to head to some tax collectors. Connor must eliminate two groups of tax collectors before this particular central district will be liberated.

The techniques for eliminating the tax collectors is to observe first that the surrounding areas are free of patrolling guards or guards on standby. When the area is clear, head for the tax collectors. There are five of them. Assassinate one of them. And then lure the others into a dark alleyway where there are no guards. Fight them off and eliminate them completely.

If the district guards are alerted to the assassin's actions, and the assassin is nearly overwhelmed, escape. One very good technique of achieving anonymity is to identify the central church structure in colonial Boston, and then run towards it. Climb onto the top of the church and then perform a leap of faith into the haystack cart below. Wait for the guards to disperse, and then climb out and bribe the towncrier next to the cart. This will reduce Connor's notoriety. Proceed back to the central district and liberate it again.

Assassin's Creed 3 the Angry Chef

The next step on Johnson's trail allows the assassin to recruit an assassin into the local Connor's assassin guild. The angry chef Stephane Chapheau goes on rampage through the town. Connor must protect him and defeat guards as Stephane stomps through town. At the end of the mission, Connor will be able to call on Stephane as an additional assassin. Connor will also be able to incite riots in colonial Boston.

Assassin's Creed 3 the Tea Party

The tea party sees Connor and company throw Johnson's crates of tea into the sea, thus disrupting Johnson's cashflow. First Connor must assassinate two groups of guards. This mission is simplified by getting Stephane the "cleaver assassin" to take out one of the guards. Then Connor should stand on high grounds and use bow and arrows attacks on the rest of the guards. Connor may be limited in the number of arrows he has, so get those from the general store before starting this mission, and if he finishes the arrows, start using the tomahawk or rope darts and hidden blades.

With the initial two sets of guards gone, Connor and company will proceed to throw the tea crates into the sea. More guards will come up and stop the men. Defend Connor's men by taking on the guards. Once enough guards are defeated, Connor can help by throwing tea crates into the sea.

Eventually, 100/100 crates will be thrown out, and Johnson's plans are disrupted, at least for another six months.

Assassin's Creed 3 Hostile Negotiations

Six months later, Johnson's cash-flow returns, and he turns up to buy the land. Johnson must travel to the Frontier region to stop Johnson. There are a few ways to do this. Sneak and hide all the way to Johnson's location, or sneak attack the guards on route to Johnson, or combine the two main techniques.

Eventually, the assassin will be able to position himself on high grounds just outside of Johnson's location. Without triggering the attacks of Johnson's bodyguards, make a run for the roof of the building above Johnson and perform an air assassination attack.

With Johnson assassinated, run from the fight to the edge of the cliff and make a swan dive into the river below. Complete sequence 6 of Assassin's Creed 3, and then look forward to the next target in Haytham's templar ring.
