It's Official! The Elder Scrolls Skyrim Is Here!

The Good and The Bad.

I am so excited to be able to announce that the new Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is now official! I've been following the rumors for the past couple years on my favorite series, waiting for the new sequel to Oblivion. The developers at Bethesda actually created a brand new engine for Skyrim instead of using Rage's id Tech 5.

The game is a direct sequel to Oblivion and if what I heard is right would be a MMO. The bad news is that it won't be out until November 11 2011. But if you haven't yet play any of the previous Elder Scrolls, I highly recommend that you pick up at least Morrowind and Oblivion. A year should be enough time to catch up on the legends.

The only thing I have left is the trailer itself, but it's a good sneak peak.   More as it comes!

About time, isn't it? It's funny, actually. I was playing Oblivion for a little research just earlier today. I know I'll be following Bethesda a little closer now. Thanks for the news.

Still a whole year to wait but at least the date is set. Thanks for commenting and I'll be sure to update this hub as I find out anything at all.

Helping provide gaming news to the best games is what I'm here for, so thanks Zakmoonbeam for the comment. :) This is one game I plan on getting the Special edition version on preorder.
