Should poker create the same enthusiasm as it did before? You mean, should every other person be trying to pull a Moneymaker and try to take down the World Series? It's funny, Raymer, Ivey, and The Mouth have been the most consistent in the world series, yet they are mentioned far less often. Poker will drop in its popularity as more and more people realize it's tougher to make millions like they see on TV. For others they may continue playing as a hobby, but as for it being a means of supporting oneself, no I don't think the popularity will continue, especially with the current economy.
