Prototype 2 Defeat Phase 2 Super Soldier

Updated on July 31, 2012

Prototype 2 Defeat Phase 2 Super Soldier in Orion Phase 2 Mission

In Prototype 2, the phase 2 super soldier will appear in the orion phase 2 mission. The phase 2 super soldier was conceived through manipulation of DNA extracted from James Heller. The project responsible for the creation of the phase 2 super soldier is the orion phase 2 project. Dr Koenig has suggested to Heller to destroy the phase 2 super soldier. At the completion of the orion phase 2 mission, Heller will receive the devastator mass ability. This will guide the hero in getting to the Orion Phase 2 mission and provide tactics to defeat the phase 2 super soldier and then obtaining the devastator mass ability.

Prototype 2 Mad Scientist Mission

Before the face off with the phase 2 super soldier, Heller will have to destroy some phase 1 super soldiers in the mad scientist mission. The scientist is Dr Koenig, and Heller can get into his facility and then his office by absorbing the commanders who have the keys (hand scan). Next, go to the project orion depot and destroy the super soldiers. Use a combination of claws and dodge to defeat the super soldiers. Within the project orion depot, Heller also has to destroy the communications substations.

Complete the objectives in the mad scientist mission and a new mission will appear at the designated K spot in the city. Head there to activate the orion phase 2 mission.

Prototype 2 Tactics for Orion Phase 2 Mission

In the orion phase 2 mission, Heller will attempt to stop project Orion. The ultimate aim of this mission is to defeat the phase 2 super soldier. Defeating the phase 2 super soldier is not easy. He is quite agile and can chase down Heller in an instance. In addition, the phase 2 super soldier is surrounded by lots of axillary forces. These forces include Blackwatch soldiers who will fire rockets at Heller. So if Heller takes on the phase 2 super soldier and the Blackwatch forces on his own, then the battle will be a short one; Heller will be overwhelmed and be defeated.

The tactics for defeating the phase 2 super soldier will involve enlisting some help for Heller. This means releasing the brawlers from their pens. First find a blackwatch guard and stealth consume him. Now find the brawler pens and find the lead scientist who holds the hand scan key for the pens. Stealth consume him, and then open the pens to let the brawlers out. Run away immediately after the brawler is released to prevent him from chasing Heller. Now open the other pen in the same way. Be careful of the virus detector near the pens. A fast hit and run approach is needed here.

The super soldier and the brawlers will clash leaving the hero alone. Join the fun by aiming for the super soldier. Again, the key here is using claws and dodge in a fast and repetitious manner against the super soldier. With the super soldier being pestered by the brawlers and the hero, its health will deplete quite fast and will be defeated. If the brawlers are defeated before the super soldier is put down, and the hero's health is being rapidly depleted by the super soldier, run around the compound, and consume as many blackwatch guards as possible. It may also be worthwhile consuming the brawlers if they have not been defeated to gain some extra DNA evolutionary points.

With the defeat of the super soldier, Heller will consume him, and gain the devastator mass ability. Demonstrate the mass ability on the blackwatch soldiers and the phase 1 super soldiers that have suddenly appeared. The more mass Heller consumes the more the mass meter will fill up. When the mass meter is filled up, activate the mass ability. Watch as Heller destroys all near him. Finally chase down and consume Dr Bulk to complete the orion phase 2 mission.
