Technically speaking, HubPages is an online self-publishing ecosystem with an underlying revenue maximizing architecture. However, for those of you who would prefer plain English, it means that we're the best place on the web to monetize your own, originally-written and topical content.

If you love to write, have knowledge or interests you want to share, and would like to potentially generate revenue from the content you create, then we are definitely the publishing platform for you. Our main goal here at HubPages is to provide writers of all backgrounds and interests with the best tools, traffic and community so that they're successful. The more successful that we can help you become, the more successful HubPages becomes as well — it's just that simple.
A helpful community
Just like with anything new, it will take some time to understand all of the things we have to offer here at Hubpages. But don't worry, we're always here to help out along the way, and once you begin to get the hang of it you'll be glad that you stuck with it. If you happen to need some help, here are a few ways that you can get your questions answered:
- Email the HubPages HQ for help: You can send over any questions, problems, comments, and compliments (we like these a lot!) to us anytime, by contacting us. Surprisingly enough, we'll actually email you back, too.
- Ask a question in the Forums: I always say that if I have a question about something, then someone else probably has the same question. This is also true on HubPages and usually the question gets posted somewhere over here in the Forums. Needless to say, it's a great place for you to get some answers.
