5 Life Mastery Tips to Manifesting Anything You Want in Life

Updated on October 2, 2016
Source

If you've studied the Laws of Attraction and Abundance, The Laws of Intention and Desire, or read The Secret, then you're well aware that there are plenty of people in this world who have personally uncovered the keys to manifesting their desires into everyday reality.

Sadly for many of us, many of the authors who've written some of these remarkable pieces have either neglectfully or willfully left out some vital elements to true manifestation. Other authors that have attempted to share these skills are often unable to divulge them in a language that we can all understand. This can make it difficult for even the truest of believers to follow suit and experience the magick of manifestation.

In this hub, I'm going to attempt to share some key tips and insights that have either been left out of many otherwise great works, or that I've simply experienced as great tools to manifesting my needs and desires. Should I succeed in this mighty endeavor, then you'll be succeeding too!

  6. To Call Out or Evoke.

Universal Laws

When it comes to conscious creation, it's important to understand some of the laws that govern our universe. I'm not going to go into great detail about each of them in this hub alone, though I will share a few short videos below that touch upon them. At your own pace, learn as much about them as you can. The more you learn, the stronger your manifesting muscles will become.

  • Law of Vibration - All things are vibrating waves of energy. Nothing rests.
  • Law of Rhythm - All things vibrate to different specific rhythms.
  • Law of Quantization - Nothing is smaller than a Quanta. A quanta is in everything and nothing. It makes up both matter and dark matter, space and non-space.
  • Law of Entanglement - Once anything interacts with anything else, they become forever entangled with each other, no matter where they each end up in the universe. And because all things were once connection before the big bang, all things will forever remain connected.
  • Law of Consciousness (Awareness) - Reality is determined by the observers awareness of it.
  • Law of Correspondence - As above, so below. All actions have equal and opposite reactions.
  • Law of Attraction - Like energy or vibrations attracts like energy or vibrations.

What is Manifestating?

Before we go any further, let's make sure we're all on the same page in terms of what manifestation is and is not. To the right of this module, I've included a list of dictionary definitions for two very important words - Manifest and Conjure.

These are both very important words, because when in order to bring your needs and desires into this realm of reality, you have to conjure them in order to make them become manifest. You must call them into your mind, then call them into reality, then claim them when they appear before you, then reinforce the energy and ask for more. This is "Manifesting" as we know it today.

To be honest, in it's history, this has never been known as "manifesting" before in the plainest sense of the word. Though through the works of various brilliant authors and practitioners, the ability to manifest or rather, to make things real, has taken on it's own sort of life path. In ages past, this sort of ability would've been more or less known as conjuring, spellcrafting, witchcraft, wizardry, sorcery, shamanism, or magick. Not necessarily because of it's links to anything supernatural (especially since conjuring is a very natural ability for humans with very little about it being "super"), but because it really feels like magic even to those who understand the simplicity of how it works. For more folks, it's as if some giant paranormal hand reached out and plucked our desired items out of the sky and dropped them at our doorstep.

And since we're on the topic, I'm certainly not going to be anyone who claims that the ability to manifest things is either entirely scientific or spiritual. In my experience, both are valid and both have a part, and it really depends on what angle and enmeshment makes you more comfortable when it comes to understanding the incredible art of manifestation. For those who prefer a more spiritual pursuit, manifesting can be explained simply as a strong connection with the energetic elements of the universe through which every deities or entities you prefer to follow, as well as through the collective consciousness. For those of you whom prefer more scientific pursuits, quantum physics has been having a hay day (or decade) with everything their re-discovering about the way the universe really works, including our ability to connect with quantum energy in order to literally shape our own reality, including through manifesting. Again, both paths are fascinating and especially valid. For me, they each offer many valuable pieces to this puzzle we know of as life.

Now, with all that being said, I do want to make sure that we're all clear about the difference between manifesting or conjuring and hollywood magic tricks.

I'm sure most of you have seen plenty of movies or read plenty of books where various characters are able to speak a few words and then have something instantly appear in their hands, or you've been to shows where a magician performs magic tricks on a stage. Whether it's an apple or a wand, a rabbit or an endless string of scarves, this is not the same thing that we're discussing today. I'm not going to say it's impossible to conjure up something that instantly, but I am going to say it's highly improbable for most humans in today's day and age. And as for card tricks and slight of hand, let's leave those to the stage magicians.

For now, let's focus on the definitions provided above. To keep things simple, Manifesting is the act of conjuring things into reality through one's actions, thoughts, emotions, imaginations, influences, and energy signatures.

1. Desire vs. Necessity

This has been one of the trickiest aspects to manifestation in my experience. It's extremely easy to manifest something you need or at least feel like you need greatly. When you're absolutely broke but you need to find a way to pay the power bill or get a meal on the table, somehow you find the will to come up with just enough money to cover it. Somehow you find it or are able to borrow it, or someone unexpected stops by and pays you back some money they owed you from a really long time ago, or maybe you're somehow able to save some money you'd usually have to spend and it ends up being just enough for dinner.

What's even easier to manifest are the things that we really don't need, but feel like we need. For me, that's often cigarettes or junk food. I don't literally need to smoke or have cigarettes, but when I'm out it certainly feels like I do, and that sets my mind onto the path of thinking about how I'm going to be able to get another pack. Then somehow I'm able to find an extra pack I knew I didn't have, or someone has some money I can borrow.

The same thing with junk food. Sometimes I just really get a hankering for some chocolate. Whether it be a piece of cake, a donut, or something else, somehow I find myself with an insatiable desire for chocolate and then it appears. Again, it's certainly not something I need, but it's something I want really bad. Amazingly, even in those times when I'm determined to ignore my thirst for chocolate and I do nothing to manifest it for myself, somehow it still arrives. Sometimes my hubby will suddenly bring home some cheap little donuts or brownies, or my aunt might stop by with some chocolate cake her husband made for us. Somehow or another, it appears simply because I wanted it that bad.

This is one of the keys to manifesting that I rarely see included in manifesting books. You can't just "want" something, you have to either actually NEED it, or you have to FEEL like you need it that badly with all your heart and soul. This is especially true when it comes to manifesting concepts or really big desires like financial stability or a new house. The bigger the thing or concept is that you wish to manifest, the greater your need must be for it. Without a true need or intense desire for whatever it is you want, the universe won't feel all that pressured to put much work towards what you want.

In order to work up that true need, you need to sit down and think about all the things you're already able to manifest, and consider what your state of desire is like when you begin to think about wanting whatever it is. It could be food, or a new pair of shoes. It could be sex, or some new addition to a favorite collection. Whatever it is, you already have something you manifest regularly.

2. Thankfullness in ADVANCE

This can be a tricky one to think about, even though it's super simple to put into practice. So many of us culturally are used to living in the past, or even in the future because all the good things we've experienced are in the past, and all the things we want to come into our lives are in the future. Though as strange as it seems, in order to manifest your desires quicker, you need to learn to bring the future into the present and forget about the past.

The most efficient way to do this, is to train yourself to be thankful for what you want in advance.

I know this can seem confusing at first, it certainly was for me in the beginning, and it's even stranger trying to explain it clearly, so let's try and start with an easy example. Let's say that you just can't stand getting stuck at red lights when you're driving around town, so you simply wish to get green lights as often as possible. In order to make this happen, whenever you come to a red light, tell yourself that you're thankful for all the green lights that appear when you're driving through an intersection. While you're doing this, picture that beautiful green light in your mind. Say out loud or just to yourself, "Thank you for all the green lights that appear when I'm driving." or "I'm so thankful for all the green lights that appear whenever I come to an intersection."

Then, whenever you get a green light, whether it was expected or not, allow yourself to get a little excited and say, "Thank you Green Light!" or "Thank you Universe for the Green Light!" or if your like me, "Thank you Green Light Faeries! I'd love more green lights like this one!"

Either way, I hope the key is clear. What you're after, is the practice of being thankful for what you want in the future, as if you already have it now. This not only manifests your desire much sooner, but it also retrains your brain towards gratitude and healthy appreciation.

Part of the reason this tip works so well in my experience, is because when we expect things to come to us "in the future", it always feels like they are just out of reach. It's like the someday disorder. It's easy to say "someday I'll have this" or "someday I'll do that" because "someday" doesn't really exist within time. It's just an indefinite date in the future when we finally decide we're fed up and ready to make whatever change or achieve whatever goal. Not only is it a non-commitment psychologically, it's a non-commitment energetically. The universe isn't going to attach much urgency to your requests if it seems like you really don't need whatever it is "right now", or if you just seem to have need for it every once in a while. Your request will just get added to the infinite cosmic queue of things that people wistfully wish for from time to time, while your more immediate needs are met.

The energies of the world don't have emotions or "feelings", they only know need. And the only reason they know "need", is because need is one of the most magnetic energies in the universe. The state of Need is a deeply attracting energy. Just think about all the times when you see someone in a state of need. Maybe it's a friend whose crying because a family member died. Maybe it's a homeless person with a sign on the side of the road. Maybe it's a group of protesters standing up for what's right. Regardless of the origin of that need, have you ever noticed that when you see someone else in a state of need, you're naturally drawn to them? Even if you have no idea what the persons back story is, or you are literally are not able to help that person, you still want to very much from the first moment you sense their need.

This what the Law of "Attraction" is all about. Cosmic or "quantum" energy is like electricity, it follows the path of least resistance and is attracted to the strongest pull in any direction.

By being thankful in advance, you're also overriding your feelings of lack or of "not having", which often work to counter-conjure your desires.

3. Excitedly Ask For MORE

Remember in the last module, when we talked about allowing yourself to get a little excited when you get any green lights? Let's focus on the vibration of excitement.

Two of the most powerful vibrations in the world are Fear and Excitement. Every being on earth is able to generate these vibrations, and in most cases, the vibrations are so strong that they actually take us over temporarily, especially before we're aware we can control and change our own emotional states. They feel THAT powerful.

You may or may not know this already, but the vibrations of fear and excitement are so similar in their energetic signatures, that we often confuse the two. They are that much alike!

Think about it. When we get in line to ride a roller coaster, our bodies literally begin to give off all the same vibrations and chemical reactions that we experience when we feel terror. Though most people interpret those feelings as excitement, not fear. The same thing often happens in reverse. In most cases, when a person finds themselves in a state of anxiety or overwhelm, they're body and mind are giving off all the same vibrations and energy signals that occur when they're excited, not fearful.

It's easy to understand the confusion. To doesn't feel like excitement when we call it anxiety, as we're often experiencing an emotional state of lack and hopelessness, not anticipation and adventure. At least, I don't know many people who chatter away happily and hopeful about all the things that aren't going the way they wanted them to. That would be just a little bit weird, even though it would be almost as effective as just changing the direction of your thoughts in the first place. Go ahead in fact. Give that a try.

Think about all of the things you'd normally feel anxious about, and start talking about them as if they bring you more joy than anything else in the world. I'd imagine it'd only take a few seconds before you start chuckling or outright laughing to yourself about how silly it all sounds when you adopt and exited attitude about the things you'd normally be worried about.

That's the amazing thing about emotions and physiology. We can change them and generate them at will. It's like a built in super power. You can make yourself happy or sad or mad or excited anytime you want.

In fact, scientists have already be proven empirically, that by simply practicing the transformation your body from negative positions into positive postures, that you can bring your mind and consciousness into positive states almost instantly. By doing this, you literally begin to change your reality and vibration making you more resistant to illness, more resourceful, and more attractive to other positive vibrations in the world. The same is true of your thoughts. By learning to practice transmuting your hopeless thoughts into hope-filled thoughts, you'll tell both your body and brain that there's no reason to be anxious. Within seconds you're emotional mind will arrive in that same anxiety-free state, followed closely behind by your conscious mind. There's no flash-bag or lights in the sky when this happens, but I still think it's pretty amazing to be able to do it at will.

Heck, it's so easy to switch between states, you can even fake it by sticking a pen in your mouth sideways, which will activate your smiling muscles and the rest of you will follow suit shortly. This works regardless of whatever state you were in before you stuck the pen in.

This process is all a part of the Art of Excitement, and it's a big key to abundance manifestation. Positive thoughts can be very helpful, but not enough on it's own. The whole notion that positive thought alone being able to transform your life, is nonsense in my experience. Yes, it's a very important part, but it's just one piece of many, in the confounding puzzle of conjuring.

Like most things in our human experience, you have to include every part of your being. Namely, your physical body, consciousness, emotions, and vibration. Without including every element of yourself, you're literally leaving a piece of yourself out of the process to lag behind the rest of you. That creates a lag in your vibration, which creates a lag in your ability to manifest quickly.

This is why Excitement it's such an important element for you to understand and master. It so easy to genuinely generate, it's one of the most attractive and powerful vibrations to creation matter in the universe.

4. Ceremoniously Cement Your Intent

Source

In most spiritual practices, ceremony or rituals work to build and concentrate the energy of your intentions. Scientifically, it's more about imprinting your desires on your own mind, in a way that is least likely to be forgotten so that you start to vibrate at the frequency of whatever your intention is. Whether you prefer science or magick, there's power in ceremony.

And ceremony doesn't necessarily mean going full regalia and laying out the giant altar for forty nights, or covering all of your walls in a giant collage of your desires. It can be as simple as tying a string around your finger, or sticking a few small totems around your home, car, and office to remind you to focus on that vibration often.

More often than not, the most helpful ceremony is one that you put together when you commit to your intention. Within that moment of commitment to your intention, is 60% of your manifestation power. The single instance in time that you finally commit without a doubt, to asking for, attracting, and accepting what you want. In that moment, you take away the endlessness of someday and place it squarely in the power of the present. From then on, whatever you've committed to receiving, will be instantly pulled towards you. Depending on the ways you choose to feed that intention, and any subconscious blocks you might have, will determine how quickly or slowly those like vibrations are able to come back to you in solid form.

Creating or following some form of ceremonial intention setting, will start your intention out right. It's like feeding a new born baby his or her first solid foods. You don't want to start out with junk food and bad habits. You want to start out with the purest and most organic fruits and vegetables you can find. By starting the baby out those wholesome options, their dietary reality will be shaped by their first experiences with healthy natural foods, and not overly processed aggressive junk foods. Doing this makes all the difference throughout the rest of your child's life. It's the same concept when it comes to manifesting. You want to give your intention the best start you can give it.

You can go all out and set yourself up a special space and get certain items that really bring you into a magickal place, or you can do something as simple as telling everyone about your new commitment to manifesting your desires. Have a party, hold a group meditation, go on a vision quest, go hiking in the woods, light a candle. Whatever suits your fancy and puts you in the best mental space for starting your conjuring out with the purest most organic vibrations you can muster.

5. Visualize Your Goals For At Least 30 Days

Make Habit Forming Even EASIER

One of my favorite manifestation persona's is Tony Robbins, and after ordering his Unleash the Power Within audio courses, I got to learn and put to use the power of what he calls "Chunking". It's a little known fact that the human mind has a hard time not getting overwhelmed by any more than 3 tasks at a time. That's why it seems so daunting that Friday is 5 whole days away from Monday morning, and maybe even why genies only grant 3 wishes. Either way, the conscious mind tends to prefer to think in groups of three, and knowing this can give you a huge advantage, especially when it comes to forming your new positive manifesting habits.

So if you find it hard to think about or stick to a 21 or 31 day habit forming regime, break it up into manageable chunks of 3. You could do 3 days at a time. Just follow your regime for 3 days in a row. When you get to the end of 3 days, celebrate. Then prepare for another 3 days until you reach 21 and then 31 days. Or if it feels more powerful, you can have 3 segments - the first 7 days, just focus on your manifesting habits 3 times per day. In the 2nd segment, do the same. With the 3rd segment do the same, and then you'll be at 21 days, which should make the final ten days super easy.

Another aspect that many folks neglect, is one of the most important parts - creating a Habit.

Researchers have proven that in order for us to be able to create a lasting habit, we must practice it for a minimum of 21 days. So whether you're trying to save away money for a coveted vacation, or you need infinite financial stability, you're never going to get there if you're not able to change your current habits into ones that will support the manifestation of your desires.

Now, to go even further, most manifesting gurus amend that it's actually 31 days, and not 21, that will really cement that newly created habit into your psyche and body. The reason for this is obvious, the more often you practice your new manifestation habits consistently, the sooner they will become second nature; like locking your front door when you leave the house, or looking both ways when you cross the street. This is a simple tip but a very effective one, and one that is most of the easiest to overlook or under-emphasis.

6. Stop Calling In Disaster

Words Effect on Water

Words Effect on Food

One of the most common forms of negative manifesting often happens when we "call it in", which means, whenever you talk about something disastrous happening, even just in jest. Just think of all the times you've said or heard someone say, "You're gonna give me a heart attack!" or "I'm always broke" or "I just have bad luck" or "All men are pigs" or "I'm unlucky in love".

Whenever we use idioms or sayings like these, we are subconsciously calling in that energy. Thought is a powerful energy all on it's own, but once it is manifested into the world through speech, it then holds twice the oomph. This is why so many manifestation gurus emphasize the importance of mantras and other verbal forms of affirmation. The voice is a seriously strong vibrational energy, and one with untold manifesting powers. Just as you can use it to your benefit towards manifesting everything you've ever wanted, so to can you use it to sabotage everything you've worked to build.

Armed with the knowledge that your thoughts and words literally effect everything around you, it's easy to see how what you say has a direct effect on your life. If you're constantly saying automatic things like, "I can't, I'm broke" or "I'm too busy" or "I wish I could..." or "I'm too fat" or "Your favorite self-depreciating statement here".

Keep this in mind whenever you speak. You're not going to be able to stop yourself every time, at least not until you've had more practice. Though you can at least become more aware of what you're actually calling into your life, even just in silly off-hand comments. The more aware you become of what you're calling-in, the more you'll be able to see what it does, and the more often you'll be able to stop yourself and redirect your thinking.

Words are extremely powerful. You can see just how fascinating and awe inspiring speech can be by checking out the videos to the right, that show some seriously cool scientific experiments that prove that with just the power of your voice, you effect reality all around you.

7. Positive Physiology

Every is so concerned with positive mindsets. Hardly anyone stops to put any serious focus into Positive Physiology, which is equally as important. By training your body to by default go into a state of positive physiology, you can bring your mind and your vibration there 10 times faster than without positive physiology.

Recognize and adopt positive physical expressions. Sitting up straight, holding your chest up and slightly out. Holding your head up, keeping your hands open. Holding your hands around your back, or on your hips. These are all a part of holding a powerful physiology.

Just think about it. When you're feeling sad or depressed, your head and gaze are down, your hands are hidden, your body is scrunched up. Just try putting yourself into the sort of physiology and ask yourself, "Do I feel powerful like this?"

When you're in negative physiological states, you feel anything but powerful and able to manifest anything you want. You feel more like you should crawl back into bed.

Then think about those times when you've been filled with so much anger you end up in a rage. Your hands go across your puffed out chest, you're legs are apart at shoulder length and firmly planted. Your head is up and so is your guard. You're angry, and your showing the rest of the world that you're powerful and you won't stand for whatever has triggered your extreme state.

The same things happen when your happy, excited, in love, sick, hungry, tired, etc... Your mental state and your physical state are forever linked. That's part of why learning to make yourself smile before your happy, can actually make you happy. It works the same with your mental and physiological state. Each one can effect the other.

Use your new habit forming knowledge to form a new habit of positive physiology. Take a few times out of your day to get yourself into a positive physical state. Head up, chest out, hands open, legs at shoulder length, feet planted. Take some deep breaths and feel how different you start to feel emotionally just from adopting that powerful physiology. Then, whenever you catch yourself in a funk or a mood, or you're thinking about manifesting anything, get yourself into your positive physiology and watch just how much faster things come to you.

Brownie Points:

Here's a few additional tips to take your manifesting to an even higher level:

  • Pat yourself on the back and celebrate every little thing you do well towards your goals. Everyone gives themselves credit when something goes wrong, you're goal is to give yourself credit whenever things go RIGHT.
  • Negatives don't exist in manifestation. Leave out any intentions that include the words "don't" "no" "can't" "never" "won't" "didn't" "not" "without" or any other similar negative weasel words.
  • Deal with your issues. If you have issues with money or success, they will get in the way of your manifestation powers. Don't let them sit there, hoping that if you're just positive enough, you'll overcome them without any work. You have to face them head on and get them reoriented in your mind, body, and spirit. If you have any issues about having lots of money making you a bad person, or not having money making you happier, or always feeling like something bad will happen to you after something good happens; DEAL with those issues. Dig deep for them as if they are buried treasure, bring them to the surface and then let those suckers go.
