Everyone has the potential to change their life, to improve it some way and this is what most people find very difficult to stick to and improving ones life is a matter of finding what works for you and not what someone else tells you to do, so the very best thing you can do is by starting off and just thinking about you for a change and for the most part you come first, of course that's easier said than done when you have dependants like children and other life commitments.
Now what are the top ways to improve your life? well they all start with this number one below....
You come first and you make time for you within some part of the day
A bit of time for yourself is the best and the top way of improving your life, how many times have you got stuck in a rut because of others who just take you for granted whether knowingly or unknowingly? making time for yourself could be as simple as reading a book for an hour or making yourself dinner instead of everyone else and their granny.
You'll find that when you do things that you enjoy that is done with your own personal time you enjoy your hobbies and you make time for them more in the future as your interest grows, because you now have got there by setting aside time for your hobbies to progress and the more you show others that your hobbies make you happy to say members in your family, then they are more likely to support you and maybe even take an interest in what you do.
I like drawing and writing stories that combined make graphic novel concepts, although I work very erratic and tend to draw bits and pieces of a story and then I put all of these pieces together, so that they follow a sequential order.
So whatever your hobby or the things you like to do, do them often and always make time to do these because as we know, life is short and you'll regret not doing the things you so loved to do when you had the chance.
Your diet also plays an important role in your life
For years I suffered terrible indigestion and many horrible bowel disorders with my digestion and at the time I jut put it down to stress and eating fast food and I was pretty much right in my assumption, although I also lacked exercise on a daily basis too, but I lacked the will power at the time to overcome my situation, so on the encouragement of my doctor who was very persuasive, by saying that if I carried on living this way, I would either suffer a huge heart attack, a stroke in my late 30's or I would be more at risk of certain cancers, so I was sold, I changed my diet slightly at first, just to see what healthy foods I could eat.
And then I worked a little exercise into my daily routine and this just consisted of walking instead of using the bus, or I would cycle places too which seemed to make my legs extremely tired, but I knew it was for the better, after a period of around 6 months I was pretty used to not having takeaways and cutting down on the junk food has stopped the indigestion at least, I just need to step up and increase and maybe plan out a more healthy diet and a good solid exercise routine to make me more healthy.
That old phrase "You are what you eat" rings quite true when you used to eat many pizzas and greasy burgers like I did, changing your diet and your daily eating routine takes a solid commitment, but it is worth it in the long run as you can feel much better in yourself when you stick to a daily shedule that doesn't run your life too much.
Turn one of your hobbies into a source of income
Something that is a sure bet to turn into a good way of improving your life is turning your hobby into an income stream, this is what I am doing with my art, even though I haven't rolled out my masterpieces yet, I'm having fun and enjoyment by doing the drawings and other artwork in fantasy art and comic book art that I like, of course they say (the Internet experts that is!)to do any business, it is best to build one around your interests so that it becomes more fun and the passion for the business niche won't fade as it won't feel like work, just doing your hobby along the way.
A hobby as a source of income can also be more productive in the work that you generate towards your business goals and that to me is more long lasting than any make money online high paid scheme or system(The only 3 affiliate help and advice products I recommend are these 3 at -recurring income online)
Of course with any hobby that you may choose for an income stream there could potentially be multiple income strands within that area of expertise you are a part of and that you know inside and out, so for most hobby income areas you can expect affiliate commissions from related products, consultant fees for expert guidance, advertising income, annual seminars that you organize and charge people for attending, the skies the limit quite often and is only limited to your ability, effort and creativity of any marketing you ever do.
Improve your life by always being one step ahead of everyone else
This is easier said than done, but with self discipline you can quickly know everything there is to know that will set you on the right path towards a better and improved life, and by being one step ahead you can determine the right way of doing things and overcome some obstacles along the way.
Barriers in life are nothing new, but if you are able to overcome these your own way, then you are on your way to an improved life, for instance one of my biggest barriers was to communicate with people in person as I would shy away from it and just stick to my own comfort zone of the few people around me and my own space, but I quickly realized that this gets you nowhere in life as communication is vital to improving your life, whether that's online or offline, as there's always something that someone else knows that you did not and this to me is what I realise for making that leap to communicate to those that I thought would make good contacts or just good interactions with.
By knowing what to expect you can also plan for what you need to learn or know about in any given situation and that should be your life's path.
Give to charity or help others less fortunate
As a teenager in the early 90's I would think about charities and fundraising as just a complete waste of time, as you do at that age there are more important things to think of right? like going out with your friends and causing mayhem and all that stuff you just have to get out of your system at that age and plus I used to think that most of these charities you never know what happens to the money that people donate, so why should I care?!!
It wasn't until later in life that I saw first hand working with charities and other funded projects that I saw what a difference it makes for people to spare anything whether that be spare change, second hand clothes, kids toys that had out grown the kids etc. And in doing so by helping others there is a sense of pride and a feeling of achievement that you are actually helping to improve someone else's life in some way.
Helping others who are at a stage in their lives when they need help is a great thing to do and in doing so can improve your life too, by looking at your life realistically and seeing what time you could give to put in effect a change that will result in a positive outcome for other people is just one of those what I call Jesus moments( although I am in no way religious, but I do like the bibles stories for what they are...just stories! Fantastically inspiring fantasy stories that stretch the imagination)
I've always said that If I became well off or in a good financial position I would help as best I could with the charities that need supporting, but the truth is you don't always have to give money to provide help to others, you could just volunteer yourself for a day out of a month or whatever time frame you like, because people will be happy that you took the time to support them in their hour or time of need.
Good organisation and determination creates motivation
To organize your life according to specific priorities improves your life too, to be organised could be about writing daily plans of your activities, tidying your work desk, arranging all of your clothes into colour scheme order(well some people might do this!) or anything else that you can think of that helps to break that cycle of "oh no!" this needs doing in order to do what I need to do, if you always think about having to do something and never get round to doing it, then it becomes and obstacle and almost a barrier and so your become stressed or whatever and of course this does you no good.
Being motivated is an extention of an organised mind and you have to be determined to follow through with anything that springs to mind, any idea is a good idea and you should remember this always, no thoughts should be wasted and no idea should be left unexplored in life.
