Losing Weight

There is no magic pill that is going to melt away body fat without some diet and exercise. The only way to lose weight is to burn off more calories than you take in each day. If you are trying to lose weight or prevent weight gain, there are steps you can take to make managing your weight easier. Exercise is the best weight loss tool. Even a little exercise is better than none. Eating the right portions of the right foods is always important. Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables and nutrient-rich foods high in proteins should be a way of life. However, if you seem to be stuck at a certain weight and need a little extra help in shedding a few more pounds then consider taking a natural supplement.

Try Natural Supplements for a Diet Booster

While some weight loss supplements are pure hype, there are natural supplements that can help you lose weight when added into your daily diet. In one way or another, they enable you to burn off more calories than you take in. Some speed up your metabolism, which helps to burn fat and calories. Others simply make you feel full so you eat less. The weight loss extracts listed below are natural and are safe to use. As a bonus, in addition to their weight loss qualities, many have added health benefits too. You still have to eat right and get any amount of exercise you can, but by including some of these nutrients in your every day diet, you can help shed stubborn pounds. They are widely available over the counter in drug stores or health food stores.

Here’s what I found:

Green Coffee Bean Extract:

Green coffee beans are simply coffee beans that have not been roasted. They contain higher amounts of chlorogenic acid than their roasted counterparts. Chlorogenic acid helps regulate blood sugar levels so that there is less excess glucose being stored as body fat. Studies have been done that show that those who took the recommended daily amount of green coffee extract showed a decrease in weight and body fat percentage.

Garcinia Cambogia:

This extract comes contains Hydroxycitric acid, which comes from the skin of the fruit produced by the garcinia cambogia plant. There have been many studies done and it has been shown to inhibit an enzyme called citrate Lyase, which is responsible for turning carbohydrates into fat in our bodies. Less citrate lyase means less stored body fat.

Raspberry Ketones:

Raspberry ketone is a chemical derived from raspberries. Studies have been conducted and it has been shown to increase levels of adiponectin, a protein in the body that regulates metabolism. The higher the level of adiponectin, the less fat is stored in the cells. It also stimulates your metabolism and we all know that the higher your metabolism, the faster the body burns off calories.

Saffron Extract:

Saffron extract does not necessarily help the body burn fat. It has no fat-burning, metabolism boosting properties. What it does do is increase the levels of dopamine which means that, theoretically at least, people who are emotional overeaters or binge eaters will be less depressed. If you’re happier, you’re more likely to binge-eat less and eat more of the right foods in the right portions.

Acai Berry:

Acai berry is indeed a super healthy fruit rich in many nutrients, but studies have not shown it to have any effect on the body’s metabolism. It doesn’t burn calories or prohibit storage of fat. It does, however, contain monounsaturated fats, which can help you feel full longer so that you’ll eat less often.

Acacia Powder:

This is a dietary fiber, so it is another one that works by making you feel full. Studies have not shown it to have any effect on metabolism.

Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA):

CLA doesn’t rid the body of fat but it prevents more fat from being stored. This happens because CLA blocks a key enzyme that is responsible for turning excess carbs into fat. It does, however, increase muscle mass and muscle burns fat.

The truth is that none of these are going to drastically change your weight unless you change your eating habits. But they can help boost your weight loss efforts and be part of a healthy diet.
