A Sleep At Last
The Night Has Finally Come
When the whole world seems to be put on hold
Everything can wait
The well needed rest that is over due begins as soon as my eyes begin to shut
Off to dream land I go
All my family and friends have come here already
We each don't stop and rest because we have so many things to do
It is like playland for the adults where anything and everything goes
Even though I can only remember little of what I see
I know that I leave happy
It seems like the days and weeks pass but only a few hours at best
I come here often to do nothing but rest
Even though my body is still I am moving so fast
Even though my eyes our closed shut I have never seen so clearly
This is such a wonderful place I can't even begin to decribe it
No need to bring your heavy winter clothes and jackets
The weather is always seasonable warm but no air condition needed
I don't remember night time so I am pretty sure it never comes
I do remember getting so much done
So I am very pleased with that
I often wonder why I haven't done this sooner
I am relaxed and very energetic
Never hungry so I have no need to stop to eat
It is an endless adventure that never stops
So until my eyes open again and I bounce back to the world that I know
I share one dream we all have in common
To rejuvinate our bodies that need the proper sleep
