Basics of Chiropractic Care
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is the natural treatment and prevention of any common health issues from allergies to vision problems through adjustment of the spine which helps the nervous system function properly.
Adjusting the spine allows the chiropractor to create the correct alignment of and spacing between each vertebrae to alleviate pressure on the nervous system so that the nerves are able to send messages from the brain to all areas of the body.
Chiropractic care can be administered to everyone, from newborns (just ask your pediatrician) to seniors. Anyone can benefit from chiropractic care, from people who are injured in an auto or work related accident to athletes and even pregnant women.

What Can Chiropractic Care Treat?
Ailments and illnesses, such as allergies, asthma, back pain, diabetes headaches, stomach ulcers, and more, may be caused by a subluxation - when one or more of the vertebra in the spine is out of position, putting pressure on nerves causing nerve interference.
Therefore, correcting the subluxations through adjustments can help alleviate problems related to those areas of the nervous system.
