Beta Carotene Infusion!
By: Toni Tucker
This is good for you and taste oooh, soo splendid!
1-2 pounds of carrots (the more you use the more you can store and have for following days)
3 stalks of celery
1 medium apple
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
1 small lemon (optional)
Prep carrots, celery, and apple. Wash with mild soap and cold water. Then rinse thoroughly. Cut off tops of carrots, and bottom white part of celery, slice apple in long strips, like MacDonald's fries, (No fries, with this healthy shake) Hahaha!
Put carrots, celery and apple with the spices in a juicer. Be careful that spices don't shoot out from the top of juicer. I had to find that out the hard way, ha!
Put in a juice container. Pour some in a nice clear glass (like the one in my display pictures) then, garnish with a half celery stalk, along with a squeeze or two of fresh lemon juice.
Drink up, and store the rest in the fridge.
This beta infusion is healthy and delicious. It's rich in antioxidants and makes a great tonic any time of the day!
Enjoy, and share your Beta Carotene Infusion!
