BlogTalkRadio Hosts Vaccine and Vaccination and Your Rights In The United States

BlogTalkRadio

Should I be surprised when people have never heard of BlogTalkRadio? People of all ages and walks of life give me a blank look when I tell them that I do a radio show on the internet. At first, they want to know what station to tune in on the radio?

Most people don't realize that thousands of independent radio show hosts provide listening around the clock on a variety of subjects. I think this trend will grow and more people will be listening live and interacting live on the chat; or downloading the podcasts to listen at a more convenient time.

Homeopathy World Community BlogTalkRadio show has surpassed the 25,000 listens threshold, including archive downloads, since the programming began May 2010. As show host, it's a very rewarding experience to talk with experts on contemporary issues that help others.

Regular Co-Hosts

Alan Phillips, JD, is our guide through the United States legal system. His years of experience with vaccination law in the United States puts him in a unique position to answer our questions with wisdom. Alan works so hard at taking the initiative to help those requiring assistance when preparing white papers or rebuttals for bills in legislation. Many changes happening in governing citizen's rights in all 50 states need review, checks and balances and intervention by activists looking out for the health of our populations. Our concern reaches far beyond the dramatic increase in childhood behavioral, disease disorders and disfunction.

The effects of vaccination for persons in the military, service-oriented health professionals who work in hospitals, school children and immigrants all require educational awareness programs to hear the other side of the vaccine issue. Typically people are not told the risks and hazards for the short and long term of their lives.

OUR SCHEDULE

The first week of each month special co-host Greg Glaser, Attorney at law, will provide his perspective as he guides us through the issues of vaccination dealing with constitutional law. We begin with the question, "Is It Lawful For Government Powers In A Republic, Like The United States, To Force Vaccination or Quarantine In The Event Of Declared Martial Law, War, Outbreak or Pandemic?"

The week of March 3, 2011 we learned about the Writ of Habeas Corpus, and the Right of self-defense during martial law and the involvement of police power. Send us your questions and comments.

Examples & Explanations: Constitutional Law Individual Rights, Fifth Edition

Constitutional Law - Individual Rights: Examples & Explanations, Fifth Edition
Constitutional Law - Individual Rights: Examples & Explanations, Fifth Edition

Constitutional Law: Individual Rights, part of a two-volume set, is a problem-oriented guide to the principle doctrines of constitutional law as covered in the typical course. This straightforward text walks the student through the constitutional provisions that protect individual rights: Takings and Contracts clauses, Due Process, Freedoms of Speech and Religion, and Equal Protection.

Designed to encourage students to think about the larger issues of constitutional law with depth and perception, this clear and informal text:

  • utilizes the unique, time-tested E&E that combines textual material with well-written and comprehensive examples, explanations, and questions to test students' comprehension of the materials and provide practice in applying legal principles to fact patterns. The questions (in which there are often a variety of issues presented in one fact situation) are similar to those on a law school or bar examination.

  • parallels the major casebooks in its organization and will complement any constitutional law casebook

  • explains legal concepts and principles in digestible sections, followed by examples and analyses that illustrate how to apply these concepts and principles in hypothetical situations.

With thoroughly updated text and examples and explanations, the Fifth Edition also incorporates important Supreme Court cases, including:

  • District of Columbia v. Heller, on the right to bear arms

  • Gonzales v. Carhart, on regulation of abortion

  • Kennedy v. Louisiana, on the death penalty as cruel and unusual punishment

  • Parents Involved in Community Schools v. Seattle School District No. 1, on benign race discrimination

  • Exxon Shipping v. Baker, on due process limits on punitive damages

  • Purcell v. Gonzalez, Riley v. Kennedy, Crawford v. Marion County Election Board, and Bartlett v. Strickland on voting rights

  • Davis v. FEC, on campaign expenditure limitations

  • Washington State Grange v. Washington State Republican Party, on ballot restrictions and right of association

  • N.Y. State Board of Elections v. Lopez Torres, on ballot access restrictions and right of association

  • FEC v. Wisconsin Right to Life, on political speech

  • Enquist v. Oregon Dep't of Agriculture, on equal protection class of one

  • Ashcrovt v. Iqbal, a prima facie case for alleging purposeful discrimination

  • Morse v. Frederick, on students' school speech rights

  • Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Ass'n v. Brentwood Academy, on speech rights of private schools in recruiting student athletes

  • Davenport v. Washington Education Ass'n; Ysura v. Pocatello Education Ass'n ; and Locke v. Karass, on speech rights of government employees

  • Pleasant Grove City v. Summum, on government speech on government property

  • U.S. v. Williams, on First Amendment overbreadth and vagueness

Part of a two-volume set that includes a corresponding treatment of National Powers and Federalism, these two study guides compose a strong and sophisticated foundation in the doctrines and methods of constitutional law and constitutional argument.

BlogTalkRadio

This platform provides a place for the man or woman in the street to host a live radio show from their phone or computer. Tens of thousands of people already do this every week with millions of listeners. It takes a bit of a learning curve, but the show can sound quite professional. People who have a special area of expertise or interest can provide information to the public, or have guest speaker co-host the show.

BlogTalkRadio has changed the airwaves providing a venue for the voice of minorities to speak out and get their message out. Like-minded individuals become regular listeners, build friendships and favorite the shows.

People can connect the show to the other social networks, like twitter and facebook. You can even embed the widget radio player on your website or blog. The most convenient option for listeners is the RSS feed and the iTunes download. People can listen at any time once the show ends, because BTR saves an archive audio for each show. You can click to get reminders when the show will air.

For each of our shows, I also open up the Live Chat, so we can ddress comments and questions live.

We were extremely honored to have one of the shows featured on the website!

April 2, 2011 Day 2 of the Hubpages Challenge

Yesterday I received a special notice in my inbox from Hubpages. On April 1, 2011 I reached the 100 Blog milestone after 2 years in this community. I'm pleased to say that only about 3 hubpages needed any fine tuning when the big change in standardization requirements occurred last week. That means these high quality Hubs conformed to the increased standards.

As this is Day number two of the 30-Day challenge, this blog announces some more good news about my online radio show which has so far had 17,953  listens and 12198 profile views. Again, I'd like to thank all the friends and followers to the shows.
