Breathing Retraining: The Most Natural Way to Loose Weight

Hidden Dangers Associated With Many Weight Loss Products

What is the situation with weight loss programs and products now? There seems to be a constant chronic struggle between many sectors of the weight loss industry and state regulators such as the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). It all depends on where you look and how closely, but it is not hard to find ads in media that promise to remove fat from the body cells in record time. For example, there are now pills and patches supposedly designed to burn and remove white fat almost instantly, relatively speaking. Bear in mind that many of these types of products, herbs and supplements have not been approved or endorsed by the FDA. Also, the FTC has their hands full with their constant pursuit to stop many kinds of false and misleading claims and ads made by some of these companies. Many of the ingredients listed, which are often advertised as being totally natural and herbal, have not been approved by the FDA.

It is understandable that a person who is overweight is frustrated with this situation and almost too willing to try something that may not be healthy to consume or use. For example, they see all kinds of media ads for losing weight, and perhaps assume they are safe since they are on the screen and shelf. However, consider that many ingredients make it to the shelves without any real testing for safety. There are quite a few strong herbal ingredients that could cause serious medical problems, including contributing to death. We all remember the news surrounding ephedra and the events eventually leading to it being banned in the US. However, ephedra is not alone as a potential problem for people.

You can still find phenylpropanolamine HCl (PPA hydrochloride) being sold online. Over ten years ago, there was quite a stir and tension created about this particular ingredient that was used in cold medicinal drugs and weight loss pills. One of the problems with this ingredient is it was sold under several different names and all were related to weight loss treatment. But just a few of the problems with phenylpropanolamine HCl is that it "could" cause serious problems and side effects such as anxiety, rapid heartbeat, heart damage, high blood pressure, heart attack and of course death. What we find amazing is that if you search on it in Google, you will see ads for it - still! So just imagine the danger that is posed to people who have no idea about possible hazards with using it.

Breathing Techniques - The Most Natural Way

Do people with extra weight have correct breathing? Never. It is easy to hear and see their heavy, noisy and fast breathing during sleep, exercise and even at rest. They all breathe much more air than the medical norm, usually 2-3 times more at least.

They never have normal body oxygen levels. Healthy people should be able to easily hold their breath for more than 40 seconds after their usual exhalation. They are not stressed after this breath hold. What about people with extra weight? Any overweight person is going to gasp for air after 20 s breath hold. Their heavy breathing is the main problems that disrupts hundreds of bodily reactions and processes due to low oxygen in the body cells.

Chest breathing and mouth breathing are other common problems in this category of people. Both pathologies also reduce oxygenation of tissues.

Hence, problems with weight can be solved using breathing retraining and breathing techniques. The goal of this most natural program is to achieve the normal automatic or unconscious breathing pattern: 10-12 breaths per minute only with about 6 L/min for minute ventilation.

Breathing retraining also requires constant breathing control and prevention of overbreathing. Some of the tips are: exercise only with nose breathing, do not sleep on your back, do not breathe through the mouth (there are methods and techniques how to prevent those), eat only when hungry, and many others. The Buteyko breathing technique has most advanced lifestyle ideas.

One of the easiest and simplest methods to gradually retrain breathing is to use breathing devices. One of them is called Breathslim. Follow the link to read an independent review of this product from This device is an exact copy of the Frolov respiration device approved for use in Russia for treatment of many respiratory conditions. The Frolov breathing device was patented in the USA (Frolov Device Patent - USA Patent No. 5,755,640 from May 26, 1998) and approved by the FDA (Summary of Safety and Effectiveness - Frolov Respiration Training Device, Case #K992256, Office for Device Evaluation, Center for Devices and Radiological Health, FDA, January 11, 2000.)

With ultimate team(UT) anawyy, more player position cards. I haven't played in awhile so perhaps they have added this in a recent update but I doubt it. To be able to change a LM to a CAM, a fullback to a L/RM etc because currently some of us can't truly have our UT when the game restricts us this way.
