Bring It: P90X Day 28

Updated on December 29, 2011

P90X is an extreme workout that was created by Tony Horton. The concept behind the entire system is muscle confusion. That means 3 weeks of grueling torturous exercises followed by a recovery week for a total of 3 months. This is not for the weak, physically or mentally. I, myself, am on this journey to prove whether the concept behind muscle confusion actually works.

I would love to hear from you, whether it is a quick shout out or just giving your own advice and stories. Together, we can push through and make this world a healthier place!

Bring It

It is Sunday. This is a special occasion because it also marks the first month completion. I have made it through one full month. I know it seems odd, because it isn't the 30 day mark (but there are a few extra workouts tacked on the end to get you to that 90 days!)

On the schedule today was StretchX or rest. It is a holiday weekend and I have been super busy. I am even finding it difficult to get these hubs written, but I am a person who likes to stick to my word. That means - I am apoligizing right now - but I am writing this in speed mode. Like I said earlier, this is a holiday weekend and I have been busy. So, needless to say, I had the choice between Stretching or resting... I choose to rest... but I must say, I haven't been really resting. I have been up running around all day, getting everything done that needs to be done.

Taking a break doesn't necessarily mean sitting

Just because I took a break today, doesn't necessarily mean that I am sitting around lounging all day. In fact, today has been one of the busier days I have had in a long time. For one, I had trashed the entire kitchen yesterday after getting ready for a party. That being said, I spent a lot of time cleaning up my mess.

To top things off, my husband had a sudden burst of energy. He was in cleaning mode and it just didn't seem right to sit around and watch him. This means together we unpacked boxes that were still staring at us from moving a month ago. We also went to dinner by the families house. Sure, we visited, but I am pretty sure removing myself to go stretch was out of the question.

It is currently after 10 p.m. right now and I am struggling to get this hub written. So, I apologize for the lack of substance, but I didn't do my morning thinking while I was stretching. Instead, life happened and I lived life, exercise not included.

On a good note though, I saw people I haven't seen in a couple weeks. They were impressed by the results. They all made comments on how much I have changed. This makes me excited because tomorrow is weigh-in day and I can't wait to see the results.

So, I bid you all a good night... it is time to put the finishing touches on my husband's halloween costume... Has anyone seen my knife?
