Bring It: P90X Day 58

"Bring It" is an ongoing series documenting my own personal journey with P90X. P90X is an extreme workout program created by Tony Horton, based off the concept of muscle confusion. In this workout, you will be lifting weights, doing Yoga, stretching, jump training, aerobics and much, much more. This is a journey were not only will your body learn to adapt, but your mind will learn the importance of feeling good.

Bring It

Today was Plyometrics. Out of the entire workout series, this is the one thing that stays consistent. I can always expect to be doing jump training on Tuesday. This is a killer workout - probably one of the toughest ones in the entire series.

Today was no different. Actually, maybe it was a little harder. I seemed to have stepped wrong and hurt myself. I have to admit, that makes jumping really tough! It probably isn't anything to worry about, just something I need to rest. But, I am too stubborn for rest, so I am just going to take it easy on my foot.

I made it through today's workout. I am just happy that tomorrow doesn't involve jumping!

Motivational Phrases!

My sister, who has been following along on this entire journey, told me she was having difficulty coming up with new ways to keep me motivated each and every day. So, I decided to give her a little assistance. So, if you ever have a hard time trying to come up with something motivating to say, feel free to steal from this list!

You are so entertaining :-) And soon on top of being entertaining you will be able to bend like a pretzel ;-) Already you look like a model and do not need the booty pop... oh wait... isn't booty pop to give you a butt? I think you lost yours! I saw it running through my backyard a few weeks back and although I told it I didn't want it and sent it back to you I have a feeling it didn't make it back yet. It might have found a new home somewhere in Kansas... We may never know! On the other hand Tony Horton and I are so proud of you and your total amazingness but if for some reason you do not succeed just push play and watch it again ;-) um... Oh and your avatar has some huge guns and is the new biggest loser! lol.

@Myth - Very important here... you can't lose your butt when you never had one to start with... lol! Actually from the workout, I actually have more of a but than I ever did before!

Glad you were able to find use for this list. Now - whenever you find it difficult to come up with a motivating phrase - all you have to do is come back and refer to this! LOL

lol... ya but I pretty much used all the phrases yesterday in my one comment! What am I supposed to do about that? Although I greatly enjoyed that comment!! lol. Still... for you, somehow I always manage to say something! Even if it is just complaining about how badly my job is beating me up! lol. Can't wait to read the next one... we will see how well your list helped me :-) But for now... back to homework :-(

Ok I missed something! Last one I got was 56 I thought? I have to see if 56 ate 57 or something:) lol

I saw a model in Vegas and we had great conversation and fun too even though she was just a gorgeous thing.....oh wait - that was you!!

@Real - ha ha ha - you are too funny! I heard I had a stunt double running around or something. My stunt double even does the workouts for me. LOL
