Bring It: P90X Day 72

Are you ready to sweat? P90X is an extreme workout created by Tony Horton that will have you soaking wet. Yep - that is right, this is the practice of DNA removal through means of sweating! P90X works off the conept of muscle confusion. The idea is to push yourself and keep changing it up. The combination is lethal to those flabby muscles and the stored fat cells. This will change your body.

Bring It

Today is Plyometrics - the extreme of all workouts - the way to jump higher than ever before. Sure - this workout is high-impact. Some might even say it was a little old-school, but it will get results. You will breathing heavy and wiping the sweat out of your eyes.

After 11 weeks, plyometrics is still difficult. I push play each week with no fail. This is a good thing though, because that means it is still working.

However, today I have other things on my mind. The holidays are right around the corner and I still have to get in the Christmas mood. I have 12 days left to finish my shopping and really just don't feel like doing it. So in attempt to get in the mood... join me for a Christmas carol!

Drink water!!!

Work those guns

If you want tank top arms... P90X has a workout for that. Compete with plenty of bicep curls! Work those glamour muscles and you will never look back!

Jump.... Jump...

Plyometrics will get you jumping higher than before. A must have workout for anybody who wants to improve performance in sports!

The 12 Days of Fitness

On the first day of fitness my trainer gave to me....

  • An hour of torture you see

On the second day of fitness my trainer gave to me....

  • 2 jugs of water
  • and an hour of torture you see!

On the third day of fitness my trainer gave to me...

  • 3 unsuccessful pullups
  • 2 jugs of water
  • and an hour of torture you see...

On the fourth day of fitness my trainer gave to me...

  • 4 cramping muscles
  • 3 unsucessful pullups
  • 2 jugs of water
  • and an hour of torture you see....

On the fifth day of fitness my trainer gave to me.....

  • 5 second hamstring stretch!!!!
  • 4 muscle cramps
  • 3 close pullups
  • 2 jugs of water
  • and an hour of torture you see

On the 6th day of fitness my trainer gave to me....

  • 6 more situps
  • 5 second hamstring stretch!!!!
  • 4 muscle cramps
  • 3 pullups
  • 2 jugs of water
  • and an hour of torture you see

On the 7th day of fitness my trainer gave to me...

  • 7 bicep curls
  • 6 more situps
  • 5 second hamstring stretch!!!!
  • 4 muscle cramps
  • 3 pullups
  • 2 jugs of water

On the 8th day of fitness my trainer gave to me....

  • 8 jumping jacks
  • 7 bicep curls

On the 9th day of fitness my trainer gave to me...

  • 9 body changes
  • 8 jumping jacks

On the 10th day of fitness my trainer gave to me....

  • 10 pounds lost
  • 9 body changes
  • 8 jumping jacks
  • 7 bicep curls
  • 6 more situps
  • 5 second hamstring stretch!!!!
  • 4 muscle cramps
  • 3 pullups
  • 2 jugs of water
  • and an hour of torture you see

On the 11th day of fitness my trainer gave to me....

  • 11 pushups completed
  • 10 pounds lost
  • 9 body changes
  • 8 jumping jacks
  • 7 bicep curls
  • 6 more situps
  • 5 second hamstring stretch!!!!
  • 4 muscle cramps
  • 3 pullups
  • 2 jugs of water
  • and an hour of torture you see

On the 12th day of fitness my trainer gave to me....

  • 12 DVD series completed!
  • 11 pushups done
  • 10 pounds gone
  • 9 noticeable body changes
  • 8 jumping jacks
  • 7 buldging bicep curls
  • 6 easy situps
  • 5 second hamstring stretch!!!!
  • 4 muscle stronger
  • 3 pullups completed
  • 2 jugs of water

and a workout with results that you see!

LOL This one is my favorite workout yet...Not my workout, yours, but I do get exhausted reading all that you endure during your workouts. Did that make sense? Keep on going you're almost there....Don't think I could ever go 90 days and still do all of the stuff I need to in a day. You rock!!!

This was so wonderful... I hope it put you in the christmas mood! I've been in the Christmas mood since halloween and it still hasn't snowed!!! How annoying :-/ I want to go skying and get into a snowball fight!! Oh well... I loved this because the 12 days of christmas has long since been my favorite christmas song and I always enjoy hearing parady's of it as well... I wish you could have gotten the girls to sing it for you... that would have been hilarious! I am so excited for Christmas I just wish I didn't have to work for it :-) Anyways... Happy Holidays, Let it Snow those Jingle Bells, and Santa Baby I want a hippopotamus for Christmas! So You better watch out cuz the stockings are all hung by the chimney with Care so silent night because Santa Claus is coming to town! Merry Christmas :-) (just to keep you in the festive spirit!)

@Myth - Abby was actually the inspiration for this hub. In gym class they do the 12 days of fitness each time. The only difference is she actually has workout moves that go along with it. I would have loved to do her version but I don't think people would have understood the references... like 1 big snowflake as she jumped in the air! She did this when we were out for a walk and I couldn't understand what she was doing! LOL

I am a little more in the holiday spirit - this definately helped!

@Tammyswallow - I have one DVD from the original P90... I borrowed it from a fiend. Unfortunately, I don't know how that program really works so all I had was the one DVD. This one has been phenominal. My main complaint is the pure amount of time it consumes. It is very much a committment and for someone who is always busy - this might not be a good program for them.

BBG - I got to the fourth day of Christmas and wondered....were the three Pull ups unsuccessful because the 2 jugs of water leaked? Lol

@Real - two leaking water jugs, one big slip and a concussion for the holidays! LOL... of course that was after the cramping muscles that caused you to fall when trying to do a pull up which landed you on the water spot from the leaking water jugs... lol

@ptmastery - I have to agree... while I wouldn't normally like to get a exercise video for Christmas... I would love to get this one for a gift... and the results that come with it! ;)
