BrokenHeartThree (how to mend a broken heart)
APPRECIATE FRIENDS AND FAMILY
You might feel bad about relying on friends and family for support but that's what true friends are for and that's why our family are so valuable to us. Fall back on your friends, there's nothing wrong with that, and it doesn't mean that you have to take take take.
In some ways you can help yourself by helping them. It's not necessarily about the tangible things you can glean from friends and family (although they can be nice too) and you don't have to become absurdly reliant on them or start taking advantage of their good nature. It's a matter of emotional support and the vaporisation of time. Better to spend time in distraction...talking to people...doing things with people...than wallowing in self-pity on your own. Spending great swathes of time on your own just directs you back to frivolous rose-tinted memories of your ex.
This is the time to appreciate those friends and to be grateful for the help and support given out by the people who actually care about you and don't ask for anything in return. This is the time to realise that they were always there for you...through thick and thin...during good times and bad times. It's now that you must understand that family and friends are the ones to appreciate and impress and to give your love to. Give your thoughts to your family and friends...not to your ex who doesn't want you around any more.
You can also make new friends at this stage if you want to...and if you need to...something to take you away from those largely unwanted recollections of your ex.

WHAT CAN I DO TO SHOW MY APPRECIATION
HOW CAN I SHOW MY GRATITUDE TO THE PEOPLE WHO CARE FOR ME
HOW CAN I RETURN THE LOVE I HAVE BEEN GIVEN
WHAT WAYS ARE THERE TO SHOW THAT I AM GRATEFUL
HOW CAN I SHOW THAT I RESPECT THE HELP I RECEIVE
HOW CAN I DO MORE FOR THOSE AROUND ME
WHAT CAN I DO TO STAY LOYAL TO MY FRIENDS
HOW CAN I BE BETTER TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS
WHAT MORE CAN I DO TO HELP THE ONES WHO HAVE HELPED ME
HOW CAN I GIVE MY WHOLEHEARTED SUPPORT
