Thanks for this information, I have used cabbage once for an engorged breast when I was breastfeeding and it helped a lot. There are other uses I have heard and this is a new one that I might actually have reason to use since I do have a mild case of Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Cabbage sounds helpful for many ailments. I never liked cabbage after recent research I started adding cabbage to my daily menus. An informative and interesting hub about another vegetable.

I love cabbage and now I will eat it even more. Thanks a lot for this info and I will share and voted up. I also believe that food heals our bodies. I use to eat cabbage because it was said to reduce belly fat. When I ate a lot of it it seemed to work. I used to slice it thin then boil it up with my Ramen noodles and it was a great cabbage soup. Now ramen noodles have too much salt for me. I now love broiled cabbage with a little salt/pepper and butter. YUM
