At age 16 I was a volunteer at a hospital bacteriology lab. I became a chemist for U.S. government. Then I studied health & related fields.

Being Happier Month After Month

There is a saying in a Hindu scripture that is by God. It says "My blessing to you is the coming and going of this breath." This was first written November 22, 2015.

I did some personal growth seminars called Insight seminars. They were Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening and all day Saturday and Sunday when I did them. Now the are one evening and 3 full days. They consisted of processes to get to know yourself better and improve your communication with others.

In that time people would go through big changes in their level of happiness or their evolution of consciousness as Eckhart Tolle calls them. They would make people feel great. Why? Because they would be putting all that time and energy into personal development. There are 4 of them and the second and third are 5 full day programs and the 4th one is a 28 day program.

So I suggest you try one of them if you can. You can gain some new friends since when I did them, they had at least 100 people at them. From it I gained a female best friend (long story) and she introduced me to a woman I was involved with for several years. But I noticed that people would be extremely happy or ecstatic at the end of it but that would not continue. Note that I have not had a cold, flu or headache in over 15 years.

Why? It became obvious that people were not made to devote a few days to their happiness. They were made to devote time regularly to their happiness. Happiness is not under the control of the conscious mind. It is under control of the subconscious mind. This way you can try an idea out and see if it makes you happy or not. Another way of explaining it is that the mind makes thoughts and you can control them. The heart feels emotions and they are beyond your conscious control.

For example you can try hurting lots of people and see if that makes you happier. You can also try helping lots of people and see if that makes you happier. In fact that is what life is all about-- trying different things. The only way if you know if a food tastes good, is by tasting it. You can read great things about it and hate a food. You can read bad things about the taste of a food and love the taste of it. In fact you use your sense of taste to determine if a food is good for you, if you know how. See The Healthiest Diet That There Is.

I also did an evening a week for people who did the Insight seminar. On one evening our assignment was to get into a group of 4 people and that evening go out and help some people that we did not know. The group came up with some ideas but they were not approved of. My idea was reluctantly approved of. It was to buy some food and give it to homeless people that were around Philadelphia. I was with 3 women and they were afraid of homeless people. I told them that I would protect them.

Now once these women got into it, they loved doing it. I was impressed. Their maternal instinct took over and I sat back and watched them have the time of their life. They were much better at it than I was but the women loved me because it was my idea.

Ivanka Trump does Transcendental Meditation and her father (Donald Trump) could be President of the United States. She says on TMHome:

Meditation is one of the most important things I do each day. I meditate for twenty minutes, ideally twice daily. Sometimes I miss the afternoon session, but I always make the morning one. It’s been invaluable in terms of calming my mind and allowing me to think more clearly.

I recently treated my team [she is executive vice president of Trump organization] to an intensive transcendental meditation course. It’s proven to increase productivity at work and cut down on stress (doesn’t that sound awesome!

Now I will talk about several celebrities that have decide to make raising their consciousness a daily activity. Now The Beatles used to take a lot of drugs and they stopped. They decided to do Transcendental Meditation instead. So first I will discuss Oprah Winfrey. She is the only black billionaire in America. Despite her wealth and fame she does Transcendental Meditation (TM) daily to be happier..

Note that there is one way that you do it twice a day about 20 minutes each time. Then there are ways that you can spend more time doing it. Note that the choice is yours. The second person that does it is Dr. Oz that does TM to get happier. He also has a lot of fame and money but also makes his living saving people's lives. He is a heart surgeon.

The third person is Jerry Seinfeld who had his own TV show. There is an interesting video with him explaining that he was only doing TM once a day and that is why there was too much stress doing his TV show. He said that if he were doing it twice a day then he would still have his TV show.

Howard Stern started doing TM at age 18. He does radio and is one of the judges on America's Got Talent. His mother was very upset about her sister dying. She did TM and it changed everything for her. She told him about it. See this website and see the video where Jerry Seinfeld explains to Howard Stern about TM and his TV show. That is one black person, one Muslim person (Dr. Oz) and 2 Jews. Clint Eastwood has been doing TM for 45 years and he is 85 years old.

Here is an article about 23 Famous Celebrities That Do Meditation. Also it has been found that people can get lots of benefits just by listening to Prem Rawat. So many people just listen to Prem Rawat on TV. There are also many videos of different lengths of Prem Rawat on Youtube.

Experiences of the Meditation That I Do

Now when I was very young, I asked my mother about why we are alive when we are going to die. We end up just like we were before we were born. She did not know. Then I read the philosophy of yoga and it made sense. It is also the philosophy of Buddhism and the Hindu religion. Also it is the same philosophy of Scientology but they came up with it all by themselves.

I was reading only non-fiction books by going to the free library. I was reading about 9 books every 3 weeks. I started at under age 10 and continued to do it over age 20. At age 12 I started doing yoga and martial arts. I learned about this meditation from a poster in the library. From reading books on self-improvement, psychology and religion I realized that the answer lied in some type of meditation. I learned about TM and I would have learned about it, but It cost $1,000 that my family did not have.

Then I learned that this meditation called Knowledge of the Self, Self Knowledge or Knowledge. It was explained that if there was a charge for it, then no one could afford it, so it was free. Also it is taught by Prem Rawat, who mastered it. You can also get benefits listening to Prem Rawat talk about this meditation and life.

I am writing this article since I reach new levels of happiness every month and see this is what a person is made for. So if you want a life of happiness that gets better and better, you can get it. If not, at least you know this is there at any time you want to learn it. You are taught to meditate on something that already exists in the body. Also the breath is involved with this meditation that is under subconscious control but can also be brought under conscious control.

I have been doing it for years. I get more relaxed in all areas of life. This brings more happiness. love and inner peace. Also I love to learn and write articles. First recent research shows conclusively that a substance people eat daily (it is not a food but is addictive) is the sole cause of high blood pressure or hypertension. See How to Live 30 Years Longer. One guy asked why you would want to live 30 years longer. Well you would not want to unless your happiness was growing.

Also a medical doctor learned that your happiness, peace of mind and beliefs matter more than than what you do physically.to your health. See Lissa Rankin M.D. Tells What Is Missing in Modern Medicine. PubMed shows in a study that the amount of calcium that one consumes from foods has no effect on osteoporosis. But what does effect osteoporosis is the calcium in your urine. What is it doing in your urine anyway? See the Real Cause of Osteoporosis.

Above I mentioned that I have not had a cold or flu in 15 years. See How to Avoid the Flu or Colds. TM was created by Maharishi who taught it to the Beatles. Prem Rawat was taught the meditation that he does by his father that was also the teacher of it. His father was taught it by his teacher that was called Swami Sarupanand Ji. Then Swami Sarupanand Ji was taught it by someone else. This continues as far as they can track it back. The Sikh religion has the story of 10 masters in succession.

Splitting the Arrow: Understanding the business of Life
Rawat uses his story telling skills, drawn from his travels around the world. The stories, of varying lengths, transcend culture and draw out simple meaning about the business of life: what success and prosperity really mean. In the second part of the book the editors show how Rawat's stories apply in real life, as he responds to questions from his audiences. Whether it's a mother, a healthcare professional, or a business leader.
