The ChaLean Extreme Workout Routine is designed to build lean muscle mass, tone problem areas and turn the body into a fat-burning furnace. To burn calories while your sleep is a dieter's dream!

The 90-day workout is divided into three, 30-day phases; burn, push and lean. During the initial ‘burn' phase, Chalene focuses on mastery of the correct form of the moves. Proper execution leads to muscle failure in only 10-12 reps which is pretty impressive. During the ‘push' phase, the workout strenuously challenges specific areas beyond their current fitness level. The goal is to challenge the muscles' response to the ‘push' phase by shifting to a higher level of strength, range of motion and tone. If I wanted to lose weight sleeping, I would just hibernate like a bear. One should eat properly and go to bed on time to manage your weight.

Any workout sheets? You mean like a booklet like what comes with the P90X?

Yes the Chalean Extreme workout comes with a workout book and another eating plan booklet. They explain everything in great detail and if you follow along with them, you can't get lost.

I got mine last week and started working out with ChaLEAN Extreme. It is worth the money... you get the toning band, the DVD's, a motivational Audio CD, workout book (tracker and information), and a Food Guide book lining up what you need to eat during each phase. It's been a week now and I feel great. My muscles ache which assures me its working and I have already lost 5 punds the first week. This is with eating what the plan suggests all the way to my caloric intake needs, 8 eight oz glasses of water a day or more, and the Burn Phase. I love this workout and can't wait to see the results after the first month. If you do this take pictures for before and after. It will motivate you seeing how much your body has changed in just a month.

Dawn, sells it for $199.00 they have new and used copies but i'm not sure if they ship to the UK either. No harm in checking. Someone on EBay might be selling it as well.

Hi guys,tried and it would cost £114 in total incl shipping,very pricey and I just don't have that kind of money at the moment! Tried ebay too but all the listings I've seen only post to the u.s. Thanks for your suggestions though,in the meantime I think I'll just have to wait until it hits the u.k and continue with my turbo jam workouts instead!!!

I LOVED the Turbo Jam series. It is fun, had great music, and slimming results. I looked forward to doing it everyday. I tried the chalean extreme and was very disappointed. Its slow, boring, and the music sucks. Its methodology is identical to PX90 (lift heavy weights, do pushups, plyometric, and yoga). Turbo jam was unique, Chalean extreme is a copy (ie replace Tony insert Chalean). And as Chalean says "if its not fun, you wont do it." Even her energetic sister from the Turbo Jam series, looks bored and un-interested during these workouts... I suggest the Turbo Jam followers to look at Shaun T's dance party instead. While it is not as good at Turbo Jam, its a nice way to mix it up (note the hip-hop abs series also follows the tuck methodology to work the abs thru out the workout).

I have been doing this workout and can say its a great workout! Personally I did not like p90x, just because of how long and tough the workouts are.

The chalean extreme workouts are much shorter, between 30-45 minutes. Much easier in the aspect that you don't have to do tons of pull ups (which I hate) and you can still build muscle. Chalene Johnson does a great job leading these workouts. Lifting weights to build muscle which will lead to buring off fat and then losing weight is awesome! Its a process that takes time but I have noticed results.

I think this is a great workout because lifting weights is part of the problem why people have problems losing weight.. they just run or lose motivation and with chalean extreme, they take care of those problems.

Sara: They don't stress lifting heavy weights, but they do pushups, but nothing like what they did in P90X. Some of the workouts only do 3 pushups which is nice when you don't like doing them!
