Everybody knows that in order to truly be fit and healthy you need to eat a nutritious and balanced diet, implement good lifestyle factors, and get a proper amount of exercise. Think about it: you aren’t going to want to deal with a busy store or a long drive through line at the end of the day. You’re going to go home and make what you have on hand. You make sure that what you have on hand is healthy, but ineffective breathing causes cell hypoxia and that is the key factor for development of heart disease, cancer, and many other main killers.
You take the stairs. Instead of choosing the elevator, you work hard and climb the stairs to your floor. Obviously this isn’t as plausible if you go running or work on the 25th floor of a high rise, but if you work on the fourth or fifth, climbing the stairs is a great way to get some exercise in. If you do work on a super high floor, why not get off the elevator a few floors early before your destination and walk the rest of the way? So many old and even young people choose the elevator over climbing even a single flight of stairs. That one flight of stairs—when taken a few times a day—can be just the added healthy boost that your system needs provided that you do not breathe through the mouth and you use the belly for breathing since diaphragmatic breathing improves blood oxygenation.
