Why Most People Do Not Have Diaphragmatic Breathing At Rest

Belly Breathing Is in The Basics of Being Healthy

Everybody knows that in order to truly be fit and healthy you need to eat a nutritious and balanced diet, implement good lifestyle factors, and get a proper amount of exercise. Unfortunately, we do not always have the time, self-discipline or the energy that this type of lifestyle demands. At the end of the boring day, most of us want to go home, not to the gym. We want a tasty, greasy burger with wine or beer, not an equally tasty salad (unless we’re vegetarians). However, even with a healthy diet you may end up producing free radicals in the body due to abnormal breathing. Yes, most people, over 90% of the modern population, have ineffective breathing pattern which reduces body oxygen content!

Chest breathing is one of these problems.Let us consider how your costal breathing can screw up your health even though you may do all other things right. For example, you can be smart when you do your grocery shopping. You make smart decisions when you are buying your groceries and you will be eating better meals by default. But if your body oxygen content is below 20 seconds (e.g., during sleep), the amount of toxins and poisons due to heavy breathing (and this is a case with over 90% of modern people) will be greater that the toxins and free radicals consumed with food and water.

Think about it: you aren’t going to want to deal with a busy store or a long drive through line at the end of the day. You’re going to go home and make what you have on hand. You make sure that what you have on hand is healthy, but ineffective breathing causes cell hypoxia and that is the key factor for development of heart disease, cancer, and many other main killers.

You take the stairs. Instead of choosing the elevator, you work hard and climb the stairs to your floor. Obviously this isn’t as plausible if you go running or work on the 25th floor of a high rise, but if you work on the fourth or fifth, climbing the stairs is a great way to get some exercise in. If you do work on a super high floor, why not get off the elevator a few floors early before your destination and walk the rest of the way? So many old and even young people choose the elevator over climbing even a single flight of stairs. That one flight of stairs—when taken a few times a day—can be just the added healthy boost that your system needs provided that you do not breathe through the mouth and you use the belly for breathing since diaphragmatic breathing improves blood oxygenation.

Pure Water For Healthy Life

Pure water and body oxygen

You can drink water, not other beverages. Having a soda or a cup of coffee or string tea every once in a while isn’t a terrible idea. Getting all of your hydration from them is a terrible idea. When you choose pure distilled or spring water over other beverages you are helping your body stay very healthy and hydrated. You’re also cutting hundreds of extra calories out of your diet— without having to resort to terrible tasting diet food. Pure water is often one of the key factors to successful weight loss and healthfulness. However, chest breathing will produce much more harm since oxygen is necessary for all body cells.

There are all sorts of things that they say you can do to get healthy. Not all of them require fancy gym memberships and some restricted diets. You can do some little things every day to improve upon your health and lose weight. Being smart about the choices you make each day (awareness) is a start. Trying to get in as much physical activity with nose breathing as possible is another. Remember: being healthy isn’t just about losing weight. It’s about making your body as strong as it can be and weight loss with nasal diaphragmatic breathing is totally natural.
