To Defeat, To Destroy, To Conquer, To Achieve Sobriety, To Live a Longer, Happier, Healthier Life, To Crush Alcoholism are the words I spoke in October 2009.
These are the words that I live, sleep, breathe each and everyday of my life. These are the words that may save your life if addicted to alcohol or drugs. Crushing alcoholism is the only way to sobriety.
You must stand up to your addictions and stand up to the demons that run and most of the time ruin our lives.
These addictions are powerless providing we stop fueling them with what they thrive on and only you can drown them out and crush them to pieces.
All it takes is the willingness, willpower and the desire to stop drinking alcohol. To be stronger than our addictions will lead you towards sobriety.
We all have a choice whether we want to crush our addiction and alcoholism or be crushed by alcoholism. It's all up to you.
Alcohol and drug addiction is getting way out of hand and everyday it is getting worse. Alcoholism has been going on for many Century's but now our young children are beginning to start to drink and use at such a early age and at an alarming rate. They are starting their experiments with these drugs at such a young age, some may never see adulthood, which is so sad.
They need to crush this future addicted life they are heading for, before their life is crushed by the addiction.
Take that first step towards a clean and sober life. One way that helped me achieve sobriety was I stopped and took a real hard look at my life. This life I looked at wasn't a pretty picture for sure. The question was, what was I going to do to change this misery I now live in?
As I always say, nothing will get better in any one's life unless you are willing to make it better,m instead of sitting back and watching your life fail to pieces, a little bit at a time. You may not even notice the change in your life, your appearance or your attitude, but I bet others can tell the different in you as the weeks and months go by.
Take a look in the mirror. What do see? Do you see someone that you are proud of or do you see someone you don't even recolonize?
As we all know, Mirrors never lie, nor do Pictures. If you are thinking about quitting drinking and crushing your addiction, then I might recommend taking a moment out of your day and stare into that mirror as see if you like what you see.
If you don't like who is starring back at you than, Do something about and surrender to those demons inside and call it quits and surrender to your addiction.
After crushing that addiction, let a couple of months pass and go back to that same mirror and look at the wonderful change of that person starring back at you.
You will be proud, you will be happy, you will be thrilled with your accomplishments and you will be clean and sober!
