An easy foot soak to detoxify is made with just a few ingredients. Combine one cup of Epsom salts with about two tablespoons of powdered ginger in one cup of water. Add that mixture to a basin filled with warm water. Soak your feet for roughly one half an hour. This particular soak will help to open up pores, remove toxins and eliminate pain. Epsom salts may also be combined with either one cup of baking soda, or one cup of sea salt. These are two alternatives that also help to detoxify the body.

If you spend a lot of time on your feet, consider a foot soak recipe that will help soothe and relax tired, aching muscles and sore feet. In a basin filled with warm water, add one cup of Epsom salts. Along with that add one peppermint tea bag, and one chamomile tea bag, both unopened. Soak your feet for about thirty minutes. Not only will your feet feel relaxed and refreshed, peppermint acts as a natural deodorant.

For a luxurious foot bath, make yourself feel pampered with a honey detox foot bath. Honey has many beneficial properties such as being an antibacterial. This ability can work wonders on your feet. In a basin filled with warm water; add one tablespoon each of honey and liquid soap. Stir in gently to mix. Add one teaspoon of vanilla extract along with two tablespoons of sweet almond oil. Mix in thoroughly. A few drops of lemon juice may also be added for a fresh scent. Soak for at least 20 minutes. Along with being a natural antioxidant, honey is a beneficial moisturizer for the skin.
