Why should you include Raw Food in your Diet?

If including raw food products in your daily diet makes you feel like you are slipping back to the Stone Age, then you might just be thinking wrong. I know that there must be a million questions arising in your mind thinking if eating anything raw is safe or even healthy? A Detox Diet is a simplified way to consume raw vegetables in the form of salads without any added fats. Fruits and fruit juices, dry fruits and nuts, sprouted pulses and beans, roasted vegetables are also included. Acne, gastro troubles, and stomach issues like indigestion due to over eating and over processed foods. Processed foods wreac havoc on the digestive system making you less immune to diseases and illness. After changing your diet to a complete raw food diet, you will experience an improvement in your digestive system and consequently, your health. Raw food is easier for our stomach to digest than that of processed foods is used more efficiently by the body.

How To Eat and Make it Interesting

 

The initial idea behind a detox diet is to consume almost 70% to 80% of food in the raw forms like salads and fruits. The idea behind not eating processed food is that, while the process of cooking, a lot of important enzymes and nutrients are destroyed.

There are plenty of colorful vegetables available on the market that you can consume raw. For instance, snap peas, celery, carrots, peppers, rutabaga, sweet potatoes and lettuce.

People facing blood purification issues are also recommended to try the detox diet, as it has the capacity to purify your blood and flush out the toxins.

Sounds so healthy! Good info! My hubby and I trying very hard to eliminate all the bagged and boxed items from our grocery lists. Especially in summer with so much available, our salads get larger and larger, carrots, peppers, tomatoes -- the little cherry or grape ones now that the big ones so dangerous -- baby spinach, flax seeds, etc. So keep up the good news...Raw is great for our health!
