We've known that whole grains can protect the heart and help prevent Type II Diabetes. Now there's even better news: Whole grains can actually make diabetic women with Type II Diabetes live longer.
In a recent study at Harvard Medical School, it was found that those women who consumed higher levels of bran were 28% less likely to die (during the term of the study) than those who consumed less bran. The results of the study were published in the journal, Circulation.
