The best part is that they are extremely easy to make and you can add and mix pretty much any type of fruit you want and it will still taste delicious. You can use fresh fruit or canned fruit in light syrup. Add a can or two of fruit, about a cup of a juice of your choice, fill with ice and blend. Experiment with the measurements until you get the smoothie to your desired thickness. Another great thing about smoothies is that even the least expensive blenders have a smoothie button on them now.
