Exercise in modern days should form part of everyone´s daily lifestyle. Physical activity mot only helps maintain a healthy looking body structure, but aids the body in other ways, including food digestion, a feeling of well-being and to ease daily stress.
Stress is some kind of feeling that puts too much emotional and mental pressure over a person. Pressure may turn into stress when a person is not able to handle the pressure. Nowadays, many people suffer from stress; however, not everyone reacts to stress in the same way, as a situation that seems stressful for a person may be motivating for another.

Fight or Flight Response
To fight stress, the human body releases a flow of hormones that flow through the bloodstream and spread to those areas that need them. These hormones enable a person to deal with the stress in a process known as the ¨fight or flight response.¨
Once the pressure vanishes, the hormone levels return to normal state; however, when a person remains under constant stress, these hormones will counteract the stress and the person will experience the symptoms.

In the present, an array of daily life´s demands can produce stress, especially those that a person performs on a daily basis, such as employment, money issues and personal relations.
When a person is unable to deal with any of these issues or they go out of control, stress can begin to affect a person´s life and most of the things he/she does.
Stress can affect a person´s way of thinking, behavior and the way in which his/her body functions. Some of the characteristic signs of stress include the lack of sleep, headaches, dizziness, pain, loss of appetite, concentration and sweating.
A person may also experience anxiety, worry about a variety of issues, loss of temper and low self-esteem. A person may also start drinking more than usual and act unreasonably.

Any physical activity may relieve stress from a person. Almost any form of exercise, those that require the movement of our muscles in any form can act as a stress reliever.
It´s been proven that a person that engages in physical activities experiences an optimum health and remains free of a number of diseases. Even the simplest types of exercises can help relieve stress.
We don´t want to increment the stress upon our shoulders by bringing more load to our laden mind. The most important thing to take into account is that you don´t even have to go any farther from your home to find the means to exercise your body.
A simple walk around the corner may give you the chance to exercise your feet while at the same time allow you to meditate.

When athletes perform in a competition, there is always a goal they need to reach; this motivates them throughout the tournament. All of their concentration is placed at reaching that goal and upon reaching it, the joy invades their being.
Similarly, before starting a house chore set your goals. Either the length of time spent, or the amount of load in the washing machine you pretend to work with. Always keeping in mind that behind doing house chores there is a mental voyage since the start of the chore through the performance and then the achievement of the goal.
Apart from exerting physical effort in the task, the focus on the objective you are resolved to reach will maintain you calm and optimistic.
