Five Ways to enhance your life - in less than 30 minutes

.

ツ★ You can do any of the following in less than 30 minutes and enhance your life in a very positive way.

1) Declutter - It heals your personal space. When you remove the clutter, nature abhors a vacuum and there is now some room for a positive replacement. Sell something you no longer need – Place a free ad online. It also gives you extra cash. If you have too much, then have a Car boot Sale or donate them to a Charity shop.

.

2) Take a few minutes to reconnect with someone you haven’t heard of from a while. Family? Friend? – A phone call / email / inspiring photo – anything you know that will bring a smile to their face. You never know they might already be facing some difficulties and your contacting them will be of great comfort. When you influence the lives of other’s in a positive way, you influence yours too.

.

Lots of Inspiring photos are on Google

Type in a keyword in Search. E.g "Inspiration quotes" Then select "images" at the top.
Type in a keyword in Search. E.g "Inspiration quotes" Then select "images" at the top.

3) Reflect on your goals.

Some people have a journal for them. Are you on track? What progress have you made? Are there any actions/steps to get you there that you haven’t taken?.. and if you have, are there any new ones that should be taken?

Also: Gratitude for the goals you have accomplished.

Remember: “You can have many great ideas in your head, but what makes the difference is the action. Without action upon an idea, there will be no manifestation, no results and no reward”
Miguel Ruiz

.

4) Take your camera for a walk, particularly if it’s a nice day. You’ll be surprised at what you might capture. Alternatively, take a short 10 minute video of the family, friend or someone you love. (Even mobile phones, take good videos). It doesn’t have to be a special occasion. It will be something you can share and look back on in future. So beautiful to create.

.

Amazing what you can capture on camera. An intelligent dog studying...?

A 3 year old getting his first Speeding Ticket....

.

5) Listen to / watch a motivational speaker , by Podcast or Youtube. A few I can recommend are Jack Canfield, Jim Rohn, Wayne Dyer, Tony Robbins, Louise Hay. If you do a search on their names, a selection of videos will appear. If you don’t have time, check out the 5 minute one below. What we reflect on (thoughts) is so powerful and influences our life, as we attract what we want.

These are all great ideas, and I had plans to do the first four this weekend. I'll definitely add the fifth idea to the list - listen to motivational speakers.

Decluttering is huge. I've been trying to get rid of alot of my stuff too. I've sold some, donated the rest. It really frees your mind up. We live in a culture of excess but no one is any happier than anyone else so obviously things don't make you happy...they only complicate your life.

Great suggestions! The decluttering, though, would take me about 30 days or more, rather than 30 minutes. LOL. I am a clutterbug, that's for sure. The others I can do, though. Many votes, including up!

I see @Lade E you also have a knack for writing inspirational hubs, and so I definitely can see why you enjoyed my hub as well, and I think both of us think alike in some ways.

I gave that video a try you shared up above and I believe that when people focus enough energy on the positive aspects of life, both theirs and that of others outside of their own, a powerful presence and hope becomes possible and at time even visible.

Now somehow this has become an untapped secret to life for many of us who focus primarily on the negative aspect of things, and you have definitely found it yourself, judging by that of your words you've expressed here in your hub.

I try to read deeply into what folks write in attempts to get at the internal core of what it is that they are actually expressing, and this is something I also sense that you've done here by writing such positive awareness, and uplifting empowerment.

Thanks for being so helpful, so angelic, and sharing with us all useful techniques such as walking with our camera's to capture cool imagery as we go along our daily lives, I do it quite often, and have unlimited supplies of content to share, but in due time for sure.

Wonderful hub here voted up in all ways except for funny.

Spend every moment on things that matter. Wise words. I'll have to remember that one for sure. And I can tie that in together with the one where you say to reconnect with someone you knew from the past. That is easy to do and many times forgotten. The next time I find myself wasting a moment, I will make it matter by searching out a long lost friend.
