Free Laser Eye Surgery on NHS

Laser eye surgery is a revolutionary surgery that can has been unveiled over the past few years that can help to cure both short and long sighted patients. Laser eye surgery involves cutting a flap the Cornea, and then using laser technology to reshape the cornea; resulting in better vision for the patient. Most patients complain of a little pain for the first few days but then enjoy the results of no longer having to wear glasses or contact lenses.

The 4 most common types of lazer eye surgery are: Lasik, Lasek, PKR & Epi - LASEK

Surgery cost from as little as £200/$300 per eye, depending on the work required. The NHS trust do not provide the service for the most common types of laser eye surgery but they do however provide Laser surgery for diabetic retinopathy and macular oedema as these can lead to a total loss of vision. You also have the option of visiting an eye doctor if necessary. Laser eye surgery is an opportunity to not have to worry about taking your glasses everywhere you go, being too afraid of playing sports that might cause breakage or embaressment, feeling confident about yourself and your appearance, all for as little as £200 per eye. It is a shame that the NHS do not provide this service but i think there would be quite literally thousands of people queing at the doors if this was the case. Its definately worth looking into if you are contemplating the benefits.

Bladeless Lasik Eye Surgery is often looked into but research reveals no results. However it should be comforting to know that the operation will cause you very little little unease or pain and can be completed within just a couple of hours.

If you are looking into atsigmatism then you should consult your GP first as there may be free help that they can offer you.

Laser eye surgery prices and costs can be found cheaper in some countries. Pakistan laser eye surgery prices are significantly cheaper than those in the UK so it could be worth having a little holiday and getting the work done somewhere a little warmer!

How lame is that? No free NHS laser surgery. Thanks Labour" Thanks Tories! Useless rubbish. At least in Cuba this treatment is available free of charge for all. I'm voting BNP.
