5 Key Tips

Some of these tips have been mentioned in other articles, but the Five Key tips below are focused solely on improving your energy levels!

1. Get Enough Sleep -

This is a tip that is kind of a "no-brainer" and everyone knows, but this is the first thing you should do to up your energy levels. “Enough” sleep can actually be different for each person, but the general recommendation is 7.5 - 9 hours.

  1. Don't take it for granted or think it isn't important. Doing other needed tasks, shouldn't be made a higher priority that your sleep. When you get enough sleep, you will actually be MORE productive throughout the day, so you won't need to cut into your sleeping time to get things done. It's worth it!

2. Don’t Skip Breakfast -

I know you are working to lose weight and get in shape, but this is important! It’s really tempting to head out the door before grabbing your first meal of the day, but breakfast gives your body the energy it needs to start the day off right.

3. Eat Smaller Meals More Often -

Along, with eating your breakfast, remember to eat smaller portions! Just another reason why eating five meals a day is so important.

  1. When you eat five meals a day you spread your energy out throughout the day, **Check out our "Five Meal Ideal" Article for more information.

    1. Today, I had my Zeal Wellness and a granola bar for my first breakfast, and a Chocolate Protein Shake for my brunch meal around 10:30am, to help me hold-out and not snack until lunch! For lunch I will have a small potioned meal, probably a sandwich and side, then another Protein Shake around 2:30pm, and then enjoy my dinner!
