Gout, Natural Cure
Gout is a type of arthritis that attacks certain joints. It is caused by the build up of these very sharp crystals that form in one's joints, caused from having too much uric acid in one's system. I am not going to go into the science of this condition or its symptoms. If you have gout, you probably already know what you have. My emphasis is to help one control this condition. There are many lists published on the internet discussing what to eat and what not to eat. I am going to give you some super foods that are very effective in controlling gout.
Since I have gout attacks from time to time, I have done a great deal of research on the subject, and I have discovered some excellent fruits and delightful recipes to help eliminate the gout.
If one has too much uric acid in his or her system then eating fruit that helps your system be more alkaline is obviously something that you would want to do. Fruits high in Vitamin C and Potassium are also very desirable in eliminating gout. The potassium converts the gout crystals to a form that is easily eliminated from one's body.
Then there are a couple fruits that have special chemicals that are very effective in removing the uric acid from your body. I have found several fruits that are well known gout fighters that are grown, or are readily available in the United States. On the other hand there are several Tropical Fruits that are known super fruits, that are well known to eliminate the uric acid from one's system.
Cherries have always been at the top of the list for domestic fruits to consume, in order to alleviate the symptoms of gout. Also found in all supermarkets domestically are pineapples, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, and kiwis. These fruits are beneficial in the battle against gout.
I live in Colombia South America and I have been exposed to many of the tropical fruits that are considered super fruits. Most of these fruits are grown in the Amazon Rain Forest, which occupies 42% of Colombia.
The list of tropical fruits listed here to control gout are: maracuya, papaya, mango, guava, and lulo. These fruits have been used for many years to treat gout in South America. Papaya is a fruit that has a special enzyme called papian that promotes an alkaline environment in the body. This is not only good when combating gout but very beneficial in eliminating cancer. All of these tropical fruits are very high in Vitamin C and Potassium.
There are a number of ways to consume these fruits. Many can be eaten as is and almost all of them can be made into some kind of juice.
I am going to include some recipes that are a delicious way to eliminate gout.

I was always on gout medication while living in the United States. Now that I live in Colombia, I hardly ever have a gout attack. I attribute this to the fact that I eat tropical fruits every day. Every day for lunch we have some kind of juice made from tropical fruits. On of my favorites and most effective juice that I have found to battle gout is a combination of maracuya and pineapple.
