The latest in a barrage of supplements touted for their antioxidant properties and potential weight loss efficacy, Green Coffee Bean Extract has exploded on to the health and nutrition marketplace with the same furor as Acai, Green Tea Extract and African Mango before it. So What is Green Coffee Bean Extract?

Coffee beans start out as the seeds of coffee plants. They are harvested from the cherry fruit of the plant..   5. Promotes liver health – In a study conducted by Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Stephen Harrison at Brooke Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houstonm Texas found the chlorogenic acid in coffee protected the liver from damage, especially from alcohol.

I actually have been taking the green coffee supplements. I can say first hand, it totally takes my appetite away. I take it before breakfast and never even think of food until usually around 2:00 p.m. I have to make myself eat. Although, I still have not dropped any weight yet. Maybe could be because I'm not eating enough.

I know if you don't eat enough, your body starts hoarding what its got. Thats why diets that have numerous little meals work so very well. They maintain your blood glucose levels at an even keel. I just started with the Green Coffee Bean Extract, but I started it with Weight Watchers so I'm not sure what's doing what yet.
