We love cucumbers and try to have them at least twice a week. I just soak them in vinegar and a few spices. Low calorie and nutritious. You add a few things I didn't know and enjoy reading about. Thank you for sharing this information. Voted UP

I like your point about hydration. The water in fruit and vegetables is very beneficial due to the mineral content. There's also evidence to suggest that it's more easily absorbed and used by the body than drinking water. Great hub!
