Healthy life - Prevention better than treatment

Many people in this world understand very well the meaning of this phrase, but majority of the people do not take serious on this facts. Most of the people nowadays taking so many different type of supplement and treat these supplements as the only way to improve their immune system in their body. In fact, in our daily life, there are many ways that we can adopt which can improve our lifestyle and enhance our health without the need to spend big money on supplements.

Drink two litre of water

Men who drink about 2 litres of water daily could reduce the risk of having Cystitis (bladder inflammation caused by bacteria infection) by 50% and the risk of women to contract Ulcerative Colitis by 45%. This is because drinking large amount of water can increase the frequency of urination and defecation and thus help to flush out toxic from our body.

If you are above 40 years old, it is advisable to perform colon medical check-up every 2 to 3 years as to prevent colon related deceases. The check-up could alert you in advance and treatment can be adopted and thus reduce risk of colon related cancer. Nevertheless, it is important to take note that kidney patient is not suitable to practise the above.

Soy Bean can prevent cancerous occur on most women

According to a research, women whom consume soy bean drink frequently can greatly reduce the risk of having breast cancer. This is due to the element of Isoflavones contained in soy bean has the same effect as the Estrogen produced from human body. It serves similar mechanism of anti-oxidant and could prevent all cancerous deceases related to estrogen such as breast cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer and vulvar cancer.

Nevertheless, women who already diagnosed with these cancers are advice not to consume soy bean drink as to prevent provocation of the cancerous cells. Those whom are having peptic ulcer, gastric ulcer and gastritis are advice to reduce the intake of soy bean drink too.

It is also recommended to make soy drink from raw soy bean rather than commercial made which are mostly found in powder form, which contain less Isoflavones.

Chew thirty times for every mouth full

Some people like to consume their food in a fast manner and hardly really chew all their food before swallow into their stomach. I would normally call these people swallow food instead of eating food. These people will have high risk of getting stomach cancer. Therefore, we need to chew our food thoroughly as this will reduce the burden of our stomach digestion system and thus reduce the risk of the stomach cancer.

While we chew our food, our mouth secretes saliva and which has strong natural disinfectants. The antibacterial agents in the saliva can eliminate aflatoxin within 30 seconds. Aflatoxin is a kind of element that causes liver cancer of human body. Therefore, based on the calculation of one second per chew, a thirty second chewing for a mouth full of food can prevent cancer.

Air indoor by open up windows

Generally, we knew that Formaldehyde or methanol gas will be found after house renovation, but there is also another type of strong gas called Radon which could cause cancerous to human body.

Radon normally resides in granite, cement and tiles. These Radon gas will be released to indoor in any house from the edge of all these tiles and if we inhale these gases for long a long period of time, it will cause lung cancer.

One simple way to avoid this is to reduce or lower the intensity of this radon gas in our house by opening up all windows for at least 30 minutes every day. With this, the concentration of the Radon gas can be neutralized to a lowest level possible.

Sleep seven hours

Ladies who sleep less than seven hours a day will have 47% higher risk to get breast cancer. During our sleep, our body produce a hormone named Melatonin which is used to regulate and reduce the level of Estrogen in women. This regulation will prevent breast cancer. Melatonin will be produced the most during our middle phase of our sleep. It is recommended to sleep before 11pm and wakes up before 7am.

Some expert do point out that human body has the best sleeping point at 1pm in the noon. With a short nap of one hour during that time can increase the vitality of once person immune system cell thus increase the level of cancer prevention capability.

Sun bath for fifteen minutes daily

Sun bath give us natural vitamin D required by our body. It has been used to help the absorption of many nutrients in our body which indirectly assist in cancer prevention. Vitamin D deficiency could cause breast cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, stomach cancer and ovarian cancer.

But too much of sunlight could also cause skin cancer too. Therefore, 15 minutes of sun bath daily is sufficient and it is preferably have it in the morning before 10am.

Walk one hour every day

A medical research report indicated that if we walk 30 minutes every day or four hour every week, we can reduce the risk of having pancreatic cancer and colon cancer by 50%. Pancreatic cancer has a high correlation with excessive body calories. Walking can reduce the body calories thus could prevent Pancreatic cancer. Sweats from our exercise also help to disperse lead, strontium and other harmful material from our body.

Those tips are fine but with the current busyness that is upon us, most would forsake their health. I think moderation is key. Another important factor is our genetic make-up. At times the precautionary steps taken may not guarantee you a healthy life in view of some defective body cells that you may not be aware of. All said, be thankful for each day.
