How To Fulfill Your Dreams And Goals
All of us have dreams and goals in our life, but how to fulfill your dreams and goals is somewhat of a challenge for many of us.
Remember when you were young and you had that big dream of being that special person, such as a Doctor, Lawyer, Engineer, Musician and many other things we wish for when we were young. Many of us achieved those life long dreams and then some of us just haven't reach that point in our life just yet.
Positivity in ones life indeed helps with achieving your dreams and goals. Can you imagine walking around everyday being negative and just wishing for something good to happen in your life? Do you really think anything would come out good with that type of attitude?
I have learned so much over the past two years ever since I surrendered to my addiction to alcohol. What I have learned was that negativity is a dead end street. You will never get anywhere in life thinking in this manner, and in fact, being negative all the time I would imagine would be somewhat depressing as it was in my life.
What I Did To Fulfill My Dreams and Goals
Sometimes you have to give a little to get, and in my case I gave into my addiction to alcohol and decided to get sober and stay sober.
As many of you know I write basically about my life and others that have suffered with an addiction, and in my case it was alcohol. My first and biggest dream was to become clean and sober. I knew if I were to get sober I had a feeling that my life would change dramatically and I can tell you it has change to unbelievable levels I thought would never come true.
So I made my dream of sobriety a reality and from there I started were I left off, meaning having my dream home by the sea. I have waited and wanted to live full time near the Ocean and Bay, but in my eyes there was one thing holding me back, and that was my addiction.
I had made wrong decisions over the years with drinking alcohol and now being clean and sober I could think clearly and know what is right for me and my family.
Once sober for a few month and my body started to get used to sobriety and I began my quest to find my home for my wife and I. No more hasty decisions like I did being addicted. I started by changing my outlook on life and started to think positive for a change instead of negative thoughts. I told myself that I will achieve my dream and make this move a reality once and for all and to do it completely sober.
If you or anyone you know wants to fulfill a dream you should really get a positive attitude and tell yourself that you will make it happen no matter what you have to do. It is totally possible, you just need to want it bad enough to make it happen.
