How To Get Skinny Fast - The Fast Healthy Way
The trend for young girls and women today is learning how to get skinny fast. Yes, we live in a world of instant gratification which transpires itself into wanting our ideal body image as fast as possible.
Can I show you how to get skinny fast? 100% yes! BUT and this is a big but, I will show you how to achieve your skinny look in a healthy way which is the most important thing of all.
So not just a skinny body but one with clear glowing skin, vibrant energy, silky flowing hair, toned muscles and a healthy fat burning body composition and body mass index.
Ready to learn how? Ready for a body like a Victoria’s Secret model or one of the skinny girls from Beverly Hills 90210? Ok, let’s go! First off all this is going to take some work. Nothing is ever achieved without putting in some time, effort and a good work ethic. That said, here is the plan.
Tip # 1 – Resistance/strength training 3 x every week. I know what you are thinking. Why should I be lifting weights to get skinny? Well, the more lean muscle you have the faster your metabolism works (so you burn more calories = staying skinny) and the more fat you will burn. It will also keep you skinny once you get to your ideal weight too so it’s a win-win situation.
Muscle burns more calories than fat, so if you don’t perform resistance training you will end up with a “skinny fat” appearance and still carry cellulite on your bum and thighs. That means you are skinny but everything still wobbles!
Perform 2 routines that you will alternate 3 times every week:
Routine 1 – Chest – Shoulders – Triceps
Routine 2 – Legs – Back – Biceps
30 – 45 minutes per workout and train either Mon – Wed – Fri OR Tues – Thurs – Sat.
Remember to stretch after each workout to prevent injury.
Tip # 2 – Eat protein and high fiber foods with every meal. These are the foods that hold onto your muscle and burn off your existing fat at the same time. Another plus is that they are the food groups that keep you fuller for longer so they’ll stop you craving sweet junk foods that put fat on your frame.
Lean protein comes from egg whites, white meat, quorn mince and fish. Your high fiber should come from negative calorie fruits and vegetables. Apples, melon, oranges, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumber, spinach to name a few.
Always add spices, herbs and seasoning to keep your food tasty and stop you getting bored.
Tip # 3 – Keep fully hydrated. Drink a glass of water before AND after every meal or snack, it will fill you up as well to prevent over eating. Also removes toxins from your system , so along with the healthy foods by consuming this amount of water you will have the following:
Silky shining flowing hair, shining solid nails and a blemish free soft skin. It will also help if you can afford to take a top of the range multivitamin/antioxidant supplement too for best results.
As a part of your hydration routine I also recommend 2 – 3 glasses of green tea every day. There are some nice fat burning flavoured ones on the market today. Tip # 4 – Enjoy junk food occasionally. You can still be skinny and eat junk food without gaining weight. Every 7 days, with portion control in mind eat your favourite pizza, ice cream and chocolate bars etc.
This stops your leptin anti-starving hormone thinking your body is starving and when you eat the junk food it re-boots your metabolism into fat burning mode again. A general rule is 90% healthy food and 10% junk food every week.
Tip # 5 – Cardio exercise needs to be high intensity interval training (HIIT). As part of this “how to get skinny fast” programme you need to perform the exercise which is going to burn your fat off the fastest. Without doubt HIIT done 3 x every week for 20 – 30 minutes is the quickest way.
You are not limited to the gym with stationary bikes and treadmills etc, you can also use the great outdoors and run, cycle or power walk too. Swimming is a great exercise that works your full body and doing interval training in the pool is also a recommended work out.
Tip # 6 – Eat every 2 and a 1/2 to 3 hours. This is key to keeping your metabolic rate in a state of fat burning overdrive and holding onto your lean muscle mass. Each time you eat your body burns calories to digest your food and boost your metabolism.
Aim to eat 3 meals of the foods mentioned in Tip # 2 and have 2 – 3 snacks in between. A good way to work this out is divide the hours you are awake every day by 6 and the answer is how often in hours you should be eating.
Always carry protein bars, shakes/smoothies and low GI fruits with you at all times to snack on when times are hectic and you are on the go travelling etc. The key here is to keep your metabolism high and stop your blood sugar level getting too low which means you start to reach for those sugar snacks.
