How to Flatten Your Tummy and End Food Cravings EFFORTLESSLY

And lose up to 90 pounds!

Despite any experience you might have had previously, it is possible to EFFORTLESSLY end food cravings and flatten your tummy. I'll tell you how right now.

The first bit of good news for you is that the solution to your food cravings does not require any will power whatsoever.

" No will power??"

You're probably not believing that just yet. So at this point I'm just going to ask you not to make any decisions yet...just hang in here with me.

Meanwhile, here's a message that Terri posted, after reading this and trying it:

---

"I started the supplements on August 5. After three weeks, the yeast was going, I wasn't very hungry. I stopped taking the supplements after five weeks (seven weeks now since I began). In the past four weeks I've lost nine pounds, truly effortlessly. I have been very food-fixated for a long time--thinking about food and my weight too much--knowing what my next meal would be...

"So, I did not "change" my diet--it's changing on its own. I don't eat as much, snack foods rarely appeal to me, and when I do snack, I hardly eat any of it. Sometimes just thinking about food is really unappealing, and this from a woman who used to graze all night after getting home from work!

"Hope you find this helpful. I know when I started I was hoping more people would post results so I could be inspired."

---

Your cravings aren't your fault!

The other good news is that you can stop beating yourself up for having cravings because they are not your fault. Your cravings are actually an inner wisdom to keep your brain alive. I'll explain why shortly.

I promise you I'm not going to try to sell you any juice, or get you to enroll in a business opportunity. There will be some products you'll need to buy but you can purchase them anywhere you'd like.

Even if you've failed many times before...

This past Wednesday, a customer at my store came in because her friend, Laura, (not her real name) had lost 90 pounds and was able to wear a slinky black dress by doing what I had suggested she do. So I want you to know this stuff works.

She had failed too many times to count previously. She succeeded this time because she was getting to the root of her weight gain.

Another customer who probably weighed 300 pounds, admitted to me that she used to eat "six heavy meals a day" but she still felt empty. But after she followed my advice, she naturally cut back to one or two meals a day without using an ounce of will power.

Another thing, the second woman 'Carly' (not her real name) used to be a really hostile person. Not any more. Now, she's as lively and as fun as can be.

Carly didn't take a course in being sweet and fun...that's just her natural, healthy personality. Yes, those cravings can make you feel incredibly stressed out. But when they vanish...which they will automatically...your stress is going to go way down, too!

My cravings went poof!

Oh, then there is me. I used to eat a half gallon of ice cream in 24 hours twice a week. Only my shame and embarrassment kept me from eating a lot more.

I used to think about the food I was going to eat while I was at work. The ice cream aisle was my favorite hangout in the grocery store. Sometimes I'd eat ice cream instead of dinner.

You're probably getting the picture.

But today, you could hand me a bowl of Breyers or Haagen Daz ice cream and I wouldn't want it.

Let me tell you, that is not will power, because I have none. The difference is that I know the secret. In a moment, I'm going to tell you all the secrets.

You won't have to buy anything from me. Nothing.

Your cravings could be almost anything...

Now let me just say, your cravings might be a lot different than mine were. That's okay...this works for any sweet or carb craving you might have, including fried chicken (it's the breading!), french fries, cookies, pasta, cake, candy, pizza, chocolate, sub sandwiches, chips, beer, and so on.

Before we get to the things you need to do, first you'll want to understand why they work. Once you know that, it'll empower you like Helen Reddy's "I am woman!" on steroids.

This works for men, too!

By the way, this works for men big time. Men get yeast problems even though it might not be as obvious. They just drink beer to cover it up, instead. ;-)

Remember when I said this isn't your fault? I meant it. The cause of food cravings is caused almost 100% of the time by medications that have killed off your friendly bacteria in your intestines.

Blame your doctor, not you...

It might have started when you were two years old when your mom took you to the doctor for a stuffy nose. The doctor, prescribed an antibiotic, and you were on the slow road to food cravings.

In many cases, your mom had to return because your stuffy nose returned. Antibiotics have a tendency to do that...cause a rebound many weeks later. So, you got another antibiotic.

Or it might have been birth control pills, or steroid medications. Those drugs and probably others, kill our friendly bacteria.

Big deal, right? Eat a little yogurt and everything is okay again. At least that is what you were told. But it's not true.

The antibiotics will kill the friendly bacteria in the yogurt even if you eat it 12 hours apart.

Secondly, by the time you stop taking the antibiotics, the yeast in the intestines has spread and grown roots and it's not going to leave no matter how much yogurt you eat.

Picture, if you will, once friendly yeast that has grown tentacles.

Here's the deal: your friendly bacteria and your yeast compete for space like plants in the forest. The yeast wants to stay put and advance.

Now here's the Huge Health Secret you've been waiting for! (Actually I'm about to spring several more on you, so this is just the first one.)

Yeast lives on sugar...and so does your brain!

The yeast in your tummy gets first dibs on almost any sugar you eat. Meanwhile, your brain cells need sugar to live.

Your brain is literally screaming at you, "HEY, I'M DYING UP HERE! GET ME SOMETHING TO EAT!"

So what is your brain going to do? Well, your brain is the boss, so your brain is going to walk you to the refrigerator and drive you to the store to get some more sugar and/or carbs.

Before going any further, let me remind you of this unfortunate part about yeast. They swell. Since they are in your tummy, they swell your tummy.

That is soooooo attractive.

Of course, it doesn't help matters that when you eat extra food, you're getting more calories, and probably empty ones at that.

Are you getting the picture here. If you have too much yeast, any diet plan is doomed to fail, or your brain will fail if you succeed.

The fungal yeast is in your tummy to stay for decades...

Once you get too much yeast it will not leave on its own. Not in a year, not in ten years, not in your lifetime. And as long as it is there, it's going to win sooner or later.

I don't know many people who can use their will power to starve out the yeast, do you? Besides, it's cruel to your brain to do that. Which helps to explain why diets without enough carbs can leave a person feeling depressed...their brain is starving.

Your effortless cure...

But don't worry, there is an answer that puts you back in charge. It comes in three parts, and there is often a fourth part.

First, kill the yeast. All this stuff is available at any health food store. To do that, get yourself a combination of olive leaf extract and caprylic acid and take it for about two months.

I would take only one each of the olive leaf extract and one caprylic acid each day with eight ounces of water for the first couple of weeks before increasing them (if needed.) This is to avoid too quick of a cleanse that can make a person feel badly or have increased itching from rashes, etc.

They can be taken at any time of the day.

Second, you need to restore the friendly bacteria. For this, I like a product called "PB-8." Don't skimp on this part. Be sure you get a really excellent multi-strain probiotic. Primal Defense is another good one. So is Dr. Ohiras probiotic.

You'll want to keep taking a good probiotic, ideally for the rest of your life. That's because unlike 150 years ago, we rarely eat fermented foods any more.

As I mentioned above, yeast and friendly bacteria compete for space. If you run low on your bacteria, the yeast can move back in.

The PB-8 might result in a quick loss of 5 pounds in the first week.

The third thing is to patch the holes left by the yeast. If you don't patch them, you'll end up with allergies, parasites running amok, and a whole lot more, all of it bad.

To do this, get yourself some glutamine powder, take a teaspoon in water twice a day. Another excellent alternative, even better than glutamine by itself is a product called IntestiNew.

Either one will work. the IntestiNew works a little faster.

If a person suspects they have a lot of yeast overgrowth or has been exposed to a lot of antibiotics, I might start with the PB-8 first for several days, and then adding one of the caprylic acid for a few more days. Next I'd add the gluatmine or the IntestiNew for the next few days bfore adding the final part, the olive leaf extract.

The fourth thing you'll probably want is a good digestive multi-enzyme. I would start that from the first day. When yeast is overrunning us, our digestion often gets stressed, and it needs some help.

You take those when you eat. They help to prevent bloating and discomfort.

People often ask me which ones they should start with first. I started with all the products at the same time. They work better when taken together.

It's economical, too...

This whole program will cost less than $100 the first month, about $50 to 60 the second month, and only $20 a month by the third month.

You'll end up seeing the doctor a whole lot less, so be sure subtract those costs from the 4 part program. Also be sure to subtract the costs of those expensive treats you just had to have but no longer want. One less soft drink a day or Starbucks coffee means my program saves you money instead of costing you money.

Effortless, effortless, effortless...

In my experience, what happens is that rather than seeing a gradual lessening of the cravings, you go along for a while, and you wonder is this program going to work? Then one day, it is like a light switch...your cravings completely vanish into thin air.

I still recall looking at lowly vegetables in the produce aisle, and thinking, "Wow, those look good!" Meanwhile, I literally would forget to go to the ice cream aisle.

It's your natural heritage to crave the foods that are good for you. But that can only happen if you get your yeast under control.

Animals in the forest aren't half as smart as you are, yet they are able to keep to their normal weight without effort. That's because they've never been given antibiotics. ;-)

You become "unbloated"...

Your experience might be different than mine. But you will feel so much freer and lighter, and "unbloated" if that is a word, once you rid yourself of excess yeast and restore your friendly bacteria.

I'd like to know how you do, so please leave a comment to inspire others with your success.

If you like this info, please contact your email buddy list. Almost everyone is dealing with this challenge, but the solution seems to be elusive.

They are going to thank you in a big way since (a) it works, and (b) I'm not selling anything. Let's keep the daisy chain of help going forever until everyone's tummy is flat! :-)

Thank you and the best to you.

Hi Kelly, I just discovered your yeast protocol. Looking forward to starting it. I have read tho that when you are using Olive Leaf extract, or something like it, you should take your probiotic at a separate time due to the Olive leaf killing all the bugs and it would be killing the good probiotics as well. Is this true? And does it really matter when you take the probiotic? Thanks for your great information!

Hi Kelley,

My daughter at the age of about 18 mths, back in 2003, had antibiotics for an ear infection. Within a few months she was in a horrible state. Passing urine or a bowel movement would make her scream in pain. She complained that she had tummy ache all the time. Her skin was itchy and her nose was running. I took her to our doctors on emergency appointments 6 times in two weeks. Nothing was done. They prescribed ointment, for goodness sake. Meanwhile, her behaviour was beyond anything you'd expect in a normal toddler. She was climbing the walls, crying and just being awful.

Eventually, I read somewhere on the internet that Kombucha Tea (fermented black tea & sugar) might cure candida overgrowth. I got a starter, brewed it, and after a dreadful wait of ten days, started giving her small amounts. Within four days the die-off was leaving her body and within a week she was back to my lovely girl again.

We still drink it to this day, and it's excellent at keeping one of my dogs free of ear infections that have plagued her all her life.

,

Darn it I answered this and must have failed to post it.

Although I have not heard of a yeast die-off causing constant thirst, nothing surprises me. Plus it's good to stay well hydrated when eliminating toxins. Hydration includes water and electrolytes and trace minerals.

The best to you.

Hi Kelley,

It's day 17 I think (somewhere close to that) and I thought I would report back. I haven't had any problems other than being very thirsty all the time. Do you recall from the 42 million previous posts if others said anthing about thirst while killing yeast?

I've lost about 7 pounds and I am feeling better - less bloat, my stomach is softer (softer doesn't stick out as much as hard-as-rock belly). I got the liquid olive leaf stuff but I am going to switch to the capsules. The liquid tastes awful. I can disguise it in a smoothie but I don't drink one every day so I have to be creative.

I feel like I am on the right track. Thank you do much!

Hi Sean,

When using chlorella to remove mercury, it's important for someone to use alpha lipoic acid, too. chlorella, removes mercury from the gut and blood. But not from the other tissues. Alpha lipoic acid pulls it from the tissues, but dumps it in the blood.

So the combination helps to get the mercury out rather than just recirculating it.

I have the feeling that the possibility of once stored up mercury getting released and producing symptoms could be a real key for you.

The best to you.

BTW kelley sorry for some spelling I have no back button on this CPU now ;)! I saw you said Mercury and years later! I had a few and a HUGE TOOTH removed in 04, never fully detoxed but used chlorella for three years after that, after I quit that symptoms got worse! Since 08 after Chlorella I have been downhill to say the least, this year or so on have been the worst! I take antifungals but it seems it's more than that! Adrenals and Thyroid seem to be low, body temp is lower and OCD is alot worse lately! ALOT WORSE! It seems out of control. I might need to focus on that there instead of just Candida, it has to be more than that as Candida things used to work but not anymore, just make me alot worse. Thanks for your post Kelley as I said it got me thinking agian more. Good post.

Sean Cagney 4 years ago

I got my teeth out in 04 or a HUGE ONE! I used Chlorella for years and it was cool! Nowadays I get some reactions! I can use Modifilan though! That seems to not cause much problems and makes me feel better if I use three a day or so! That is a concentrated Seaweed! I don't know how I could dumb mercury years later though like this? But is is possible? This is more than Just Candida now I know, Adrenal or Thyroid problems, so maybe you said Metals from that? I agree it might be that alot moreso I need to adress first? I feel better on Adaptogens like Gotu Kola or Licorice than Antifungals for Candida, if that tells you anything? Maybe adrenals and thyroid are messed up from Metals? Godo post Kelley you got me thinking some more.

Hi Sean,

A chiropractor wrote here two or three years back that candida acts as a last-ditch protector against mercury toxicity. Mercury is also a cause of leaky gut.

I've also read that some people who have OCD clear it up altogether if they do a mercury detox.

So it's possible that when your yeast is killed off it leaves some mercury unfettered to do its nasty business.

If I had mercury, I'd take a broken cell chlorella twice a day. And alpha lipoic acid twice a day. It's important to spread out the doses so that the active period covers most or all of the day.

I believe Lypo-Spheric vitamin C would also probably remove mercury, not only from the blood but from the tissue, since the lipid component transports the C inside the cell.

Mercury can hide out in the cells for a long time, so a person can appear to be mercury free based on urine tests, only to have it reappear months or even years later.

So if I felt my OCD returning, I'd go back to a mercury cleanse once again.

They say we need to get the mercury removed from our teeth, too. If a person can afford it, it's definitely worthwhile.

The best to you.

Kelley I just can not handle the Glutamine for some reason? It makes me a little sped up in the brain and my OCD worse! I have read on that before and for some reason it does this to me fully :( I will have to try something else for the leaky gut I think, Slippery Elm or DGL Licorice. I also feel burnt out alot of times, could this be adrenal fatigue moreso than Candida as Antifungals always seem to make me alot worse and tired? I know Adrenal burnout is not that uncommon and fit that bill fully. I want to do this program but Glutamine is a no no and this feels like Adrenal burnout alot of times atop of Candida or maybe both.

Hi Sean,

In that case, I would use your product and an excellent probiotic - it doesn't have to be PB-8 - with several strains of bacteria. It isn't just to kill off the candida, it is to replenish the gut with lots of different flora. Different strains hang out in different parts of the gut to carry out various tasks.

I would do the program as long as it takes. It can vary from person to person. Slow and steady sounds good to me.

By the way, you might find that the IntestiNew does a superior job for you over the glutamine.

The best to you.

Sean 5 years ago

I agree on the probiotic thing, except the sporanges or Duraflora by Source naturals is killing CANDIDA by itself! I am getting die offs from the Probiotic alone where as with others I feel nothing at all! I would say that is pretty effective before I even added antifungals! I know Lactobacilus Sporangenes are used to fight candida and survive stomach acid, so maybe I stick on that for a month or so if it continues to work (IF It is not broke why fix it? LOL), if not PB8 again it is! I know PB8 is very good, but I am having success with the first probiotic I have used since Primal Defense, PB8 I used for months and it did little to noghing for me. I will keep you posted on this here! I have yet to start Olive Leaf or Caprylic yet so I will take it slow like you said. I will stay in here weekly and keep it posted as I add slow.

Also since I am going slow is it okay to do 3 months or so instead of two? I mean slow approach works better for me it seems as die offs can get horrible!

Sean.

Hi Sean,

Leaky gut, candida and parasites go hand in hand. When there is leaky gut, parasites are able to do what they couldn't do which is to take up a home in our body.

So if someone wants to do a parasite ceanse while they follow my recipe, that sounds good to me.

I would find a probiotic that has several different kinds of friendly bacteria rather than one or just a few.

The best to you.

Hi Bonnie,

I'm not familiar with an accurate test for candida. Maybe there is one.

If I had all those allergies I'd be pretty sure I had leaky gut because 95% of allergies are caused by it, according to Dr. Stoll, a retired physician I learned this from.

Colon cleanses can be great for getting rid of a lot of intestinal problems. It might support this recipe. It's not a yeast program per se, but it might help.

The best to you.

Sean 5 years ago

Kelley I am on day 5 of probiotics (I don't have PB8 as that isn't something that really helps me it seems) which is composed of Lactobacilus Sporangenes primarily (Survives stomach acid) and now day three of the Glutamine starting at a lower dosage, needless to say do symptoms worsen before they begin to get better? I usually get more hungry when starting these things and have more symptoms such as brain fog and even more anxiety! I am a skeptic as so many things have failed and my hunger always prevails! I know I have yeast but I am skinny as is, so the losing 90 pounds is not why I am doing this, it's the cravings for carbs and the symptoms I get from the yeast which is why I do it! If I am skinny is it still possible it's yeast or maybe a parasite problem? An Indian friend at work asked if I grinded teeth at night, I said yes, he said you have worms in your gut and said he would find me an herb to help get rid of those. Should I continue with this here and add the Olive Leaf and Caprylic acid for two months? I took Antibiotics in high school and some steroids for inhalers so no doubt I could have yeast, but wouldn't parasites have the same symptoms of hunger and so on? I am going to go through wiht this and hope it helps. I feel the person above might have parasites as well being they have the symptoms but came up negative for a yeast test (WHICH we never know how accurate it is being tests are routinely wrong doctors give).

Thanks in advance, Sean.

Bonnie 5 years ago

Hi Kelley,

Do you suggest colon cleanses at all for controlling the yeast? I had a food allergy test and found out that I have many food sensitivities (eggs, gluten, wheat, sugar, almonds, etc). I also tested for Candida at the same time but it came back as negative. I was surprised because I have so many symptoms that suggest it. Would it be beneficial to under treatment for candidias despite a negative test result?

Maria 5 years ago

To Kate and others who are wondering about results:

I have now been on the supplements for a little over two weeks.

As I wrote previously, my chronic skin rash cleared up.

Also,my insatiable hunger is now GONE! :-)

I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes over a year ago and began exercising for up to 3 hours a day and eating a low carb, high protein and high healthy fat diet with coconut and olive oil and probiotics, kombucha, etc.

I was always starving, especially in the morning, as if I might faint from feeling weak. More than cravings, I felt physical hunger. I thought that my blood sugar was making me feel that way.

I now know that what was causing it was the yeast, since it really is like a switch that has been turned off. I was being controlled and no amount of will power could overcome it. But this recipe did! What a relief to be free of the weak-from-starvation feeling! Now I can eat much less of the same foods and feel fine.

I also totally get the "effortless" part, after working so hard for so long. This is super easy.

Thanks again, Kelley, for your dedication to getting the word out and for helping me and others to feel better. I've just added the enzymes as well and will keep you posted. Mil gracias!

It's day 4 and I'm feeling itchy in places that have itched in the past when I suspected it was yeast. (Does that make sense?) So that tells me that I'm already seeing some positive results even though it's only day 4 and I'm not up to the full dosage of olive leaf extract and caprylic acid yet.

So . . . thank you Kelley!!!

Hi Kate,

Yes, there are comments of people getting positive results. Lots of them. Lately I've been remiss I asking folks to stay in touch, so it is my fault. People need reminders.

But you bring up a good point. I don't have any control over people staying here once they improve. It's like the ten people who were healed by Jesus and one returned to say thank you. The percentage here is higher, but the idea is the same. I'm not comparing myself to Jesus at all. I'm just using the story to illustrate a point.

So this message is for everyone to note that people are paying attention. If you don't follow up with your good news, new visitors wonder.

So keep us updated!

I'll have you know I'm a reformed stalker - just ask my parole officer! (Okay, totally kidding!!!) :)

It's day 3 of the recipe. I added the Olive Leaf Extract today. The only kind Whole Foods had was a liquid. The directions on the bottle: "30 to 40 drops, 3 times a day" but no info about strength, so I don't know whether to do that or just stick with once a day for now. I'll probably just go with once a day and see what happens.

So far no noticeable anything except a few more trips to the bathroom and I am NOT complaining about that at all. I'm quite sure that yeast is dying even as I type. Be GONE, you nasty little varmits!

Interesting how your mind interpreted that as "hubby." But who knows - if your little remedy helps me as much as it has helped others here, a proposal is not out of the question. :)

I took everything today except the olive leaf. Got a lot going on right now and didn't want to risk a major headache or anything so I'm going to wait a couple more days before I add it. I do feel like the PB 8 might already be doing some good. I've read a bunch of good reviews for that stuff on other sites. I've been makig my own kefir with raw milk and kefir grains for a few weeks now but I think it might be adding some weight that I really don't need so I'm not sure if I will continue that or not.The PB 8 sounds like a keeper.

Okay, I'm rambling. Thanks for the welcome. I'll keep you posted on my progress (and the status of that proposal).

Hi again! Thanks for the prompt response!

I know you mentioned the multi enzymes should be taken after meals - but what about the glutamine powder, pb8, caprylic acid, and olive leaf extract? Does it make a differ4ence?

And what amounts (in milligrams) are appropriate for each? I know you said about 4500mg for the Glutamine powder. And I know PB8 comes in a set amount. But what about the capryllic acid and olive leaf extract? Perhaps you could add these numbers to your main entry above as well? Bullet pointed if possible? Thank you once again for all your help and I will be sure to post updates regarding my appetite!

Hi Deb,

Thank you for your oh so kind thoughts.

I have a confession to make. When I was reading your response for a fraction of a second I misread what you wrote, as "Thank you so much for this, hubby..."

Instantly, I thought you wanted to marry me...then I realized it was my so-called brain that came up with that one. I wonder what that was all about? LOL!

In any case, welcome. Please keep us updated.

The best to you.

Wow! I finally got thru reading every comment - took me days but boy do I feel smarter. :)

Today I got all the products recommended in the "kill the yeast" protocol and am very excited to start tomorrow. (well technically today since its nearly 2 a.m. - can't sleep).

Thank you so much for this hub, Kelley. The fact that you have maintained it for so long and you are still responding to comments and questions tells me that you are a caring and kind individual. I will post my progress. Did I mention that I am very excited to start this? :)

Hi Annette,

I've done as you've suggested, providing the dosages I would use. I believe this is the third time I've done that, but I must have screwed up somehow because it wasn't there.

You can use the "Ctrl F" function to look for "Your effortless cure" to find the section with the dosages.

The best to you.

I am so excited to start this! THank you greatly for posting this! I have sugar cravings like CRAZY so I'm deff looking forward to giving this a shot.

Just a recommendation - do you think you can put the recommended amounts of each of the things suggested and how many times they should be taken per day? Also I noticed, many people seem to be getting the g and mg confused with the glutamine powder.

PS - something interesting to note is I keep hearing L-glutamine on its own will stop sugar cravings - something to do with it working with the glucose in the blood.

Kelley you mention minerals above, how about one Kelp Pill a day (Modifilan) and some Spirulina as well? I am going to use your recipe very soon in full, but wanted to remineralize as well, Spirulina seems to be a good source or Chlorella! I would think of any of those being rich in minerals as seaweeds and algae usually are (IF they are a clean source). I have Modifilan if you have heard of it before? That I can take a few pills a day of if it would help, concentrated Brown Seaweed good stuff.

Hi speakeasy,

Thyroid tests are notoriously unreliable. Hair loss is a big cause, although there might are other causes, such as heavy metals.

I'd start taking 2 or 3 kelp tablets a day and a product called ConcenTrace to help get my mineral balance back along with my recipe.

Just so you know, my recipe is not a diet.

All those antibiotics sure do increase the risk of yeast overgrowth and leaky gut which is big part of IBS.

If it were me, I'd get started on my recipe right away if I wanted to feel better.

If a person has better digestion, it can help to balance their hormones. So I would want to get that working and take it from there.

The best to you.

Hi Kelley,

I want to send you a Thanksgiving thank you!

I started the supplements you suggest just over 10 days ago and a bothersome rash that I had for months is now gone. The doctor said it was yeast but never recommended anything but golden seal poultices which never cleared it up.

I am so grateful and feel hopeful that other health problems will resolve too.

I will write more later. Mil gracias!

Kelly,

I have been having hair shedding, more than usual and acne since I stopped taking birthcontrol a year ago. I've had IBS symptoms for years now , but have never seen a doctor for it , I've also taken 4 sets of antibiotics this year for infections. Is it possible that yeast makes your hair fall out? , I 've been doing a lot of research and had my hormones and thyroid tested which were both normal. , I just can't find any other reason for the hair loss. I am also underweight ,,, and am afraid of doing a strict diet and losing more.

Hi Kelley,

How are you? I started your protocol after visitng your hub again recently. Since then my doctor told me that there is no cure and suggested starting with Prednisone but then changed her mind as I told her that I think it is futile as it is only a temporary measure and I do not want to suffer the side effects.

Today I will visit a dietist but I think my situation is too complicated for them. I am struggling as I cannot eat any protein at all as I immediately get swollen up. I read somewhere that consuming whey protein or taking peptide supplements will help. I am again on the hunt to help myself.

I guess the only good thing about this illness is that I am becoming even more aware of how to ensure that I have good nutrion and health for myself and my family.

Looking forward to being healthy and getting back to normal - hopefully after 2 months on your protocol but I will let you know.

Thanks again,

Hi Sabinka,

Most people have a hard time taking three olive leaves and three caprylic acids because they release too many toxins at once and they get headaches or flu like symptoms. You might want to go back to two or even one of those two products.

But on to your questions. Why not. I'd try it and see how I responded. I've also used aloe vera capsules, taking two at night, with very good results. Sometimes it's preferable to take a little bit of different things than to just rely on one thing, such as the PB-8.

That is true for me at least. I used to be very regular, going to the bathroom 2-3 times a day, until I fell about four years ago. The fall greatly aggravated a an underlying problem with my lower back that I didn't even know existed - I actually had a bone on my L-5 vertabra that was crushed, and it had been there all along!

From that day forward after the fall, I've needed help going to the bathroom. I take two PB-8's and two aloe veras each day, which has improved the situation significantly.

The best to you.

I feel less bloated i even had a better bm that i have not had in a long time, i feel lighter less bloated. I forgot to mention the powder i have is vitamin shoppe's l-glutamine powder and i take one heaping tsp bid

Hi AEllery,

The rashes are just an external expression of the inner infection.

Tea tree oil body wash or aloe gel (not the tanning/sunburn stuff you find at Walmart, etc) can be quite helpful, but the rash will keep coming back until the internal source is also remedied.

ACV is often quite helpful.

Hi Kelley,

I started the supplements a few days ago. Thanks for the great information on your site..

I have a few questions:

What is the connection between a yeast skin rash and an inner candida problem?

Are they cured the same way?

What is the best way to treat a yeast skin rash topically?

Is ACV beneficial against candida?

Thanks so much!

I will keep you posted.

Hi Sabinka,

Thank you for bringing your question over her.

You were asking me about PB-8 and DGL in your original question. DGL reverses ulcers, so I would imagine that it has a positive effect on H pylori as well. PB-8 helps to restore the friendly bacteria in the intestines. It has no direct effect on H pylor, but by helping to produce good bacteria, it could have an indirect and even an important role in keeping H pylori at bay.

The best to you.

Hi Sean,

Ys, it's perfectly fine to start this slowly, adding one product at a time.

I don't think a person can be allergic to glutamine because we need it to live. IOW, if you were allergic, you wouldn't be alive.

Allergies are responses to proteins. Glutamine is an amino acid rather than a protein.

The best to you.

Sean 5 years ago

I am going to start this tomorrow as it seems the safest out of the Candida cleanses (Does not hurt any organs or have a harmful ingrediant with side effects involved it seems) but instead of the Caprylic Acid I will instead use a product called sf722 because I already have it which is basically a fatty acid which works like Caprylic Acid http://www.drz.org/asp/store/DetailPage.asp?Produc... but I have read it's six times stronger! Can I start this, the PB8, Olive leaf at first then in a few weeks add Glutamine? I don't have it right now but think starting out each very slowly and adding on stuff later is the way to go for me since I get some bad die offs from these things.

Thank you in advance, Sean.

BTW If I am allergic by chance to Gluatmine which I am alot more things it seems as of late can I substitute anything else like Slippery Elm? I know that coats the gut. I don't have high blood pressure either so maybe Licorice since blood pressure is good?

Hello Kelly,

Many thanks for your response. I have started on the protocol but slowly only taking probiotics and the olive leaf extract and probiotics and L-glutamine for now. Thanks for the detailed explanation.

I have had a few scares (one yesterday as well) with the angioedema in my throat. I do have an epi-pen that I carry everywhere. However, I hope I never have to use it and that I do not have anoother episode - it was truly frightening.

I am looking forward to getting my life back to normal - and with your assistance via this protocol I feel already very positive.

Many many thanks,

Kelley Eidem profile image

Kelley Eidem 5 years ago from Panama City, FL Author

Hi smlandme,

Sorry I didn't respond earlier. I got a phone call that pulled me away, and then I forgot all about it.

Angioedema has various causes, but is often due to allergies or an auto immune response. My recipe is designed to reverse almost all allergies and auto immune diseases.

According to a retired physician I know, Dr. Stoll, 95% of all allergies are due to leaky gut. Leaky gut is very common and can be caused by heavy metals.

The leaky gut allows partially digested food particles to pass into the intestines. The body responds immediately with allergy antigens. So allergies are created.

So long as there is leaky gut, the victim will at some point become allergic to whatever new foods are eaten. But patching up the intestinal holes helps to stop the allergic response because the food particles no longer get through to irritate the allergy defenses.

The auto immune factor comes in when the immune system is abused for longer than it can handle it. Once again, patching the holes once again stops that irritation.

The angioedema can be life threatening if the throat is involved in a case like that I would call 9-1-1 and put some cayenne pepper or tumeric in my mouth immediately. It might stop the process and reverse the swelling.

The best to you.

Hi Kelly,

I just read your response to Metal above and I think what you wrote is exactly what is happening to me. I felt like my eyes were just opened again - I should have check your hub when my problem started earlier in the year. I had a feeling earlier in the year that I needed to do the protocol as I suddenly gain 14 llbs - thereafter the allergies started. Anyway better late than never - I will start the protocol today.

I have now lost about 9 llbs due to my elimination diet but I still have allergic reaction. I have been eating just baked potatoes, a basic salad and some fruit. So far no doctor has told me what to do to remedy my situation. Prednisone seem to be their only temporary cure.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge I already feel positive that I will get better.

All the best,

smlandme

smlandme 5 years ago

Hello Kelly,

Hope all is well with you. You have helped me in the past via this protocol and now I am wondering if you can help me again. I would really appreciate it!!

Unfortunately, I did regain the weight that I had lost but it was over 1 year ago and due to totally inappropriate eating. However my issue is now not weight gain per se, but allergies. I know you hub is about weight loss but you are so knowleadgeable so maybe you have some insights that you do not mind sharing.

I have food allergies and suffer from angioedema. It is pretty frustrating as I seem to react to all foods. I have started an elimination diet but that really means minimal eating as it is too distressing when my face is all swollen up - it takes a while day sometimes for me to look normal again.

I realise now that it is a immune system issue but wondered whether your protocol could help me again. I thought well it can do no harm so I do plan to try it but I thought why not ask you as well.

I look forward to hearing your response,

Thanks in advance,

smlandme

Hi Kelli,

If you're motivated to eat healthy while you're doing this avoiding sugar, HFCS, artificial sweeteners, etc, by all means go ahead and do that. You'll be that much further ahead.

The beauty of my recipe is that it removes the cravings for those who aren't motivated. That means many more people can have success. No longer does it become a battle of wills. Fresh produce starts to look yummy.

Kelley Eidem profile image

Kelley Eidem 5 years ago from Panama City, FL Author

Hi Metal,

The idea behind my recipe comes from looking at what happens when our friendly bacteria is deficient. That one thing results in a series of events.

1- Yeast is allowed to flourish.

2- It changes from a bud to a rod

3- It sprouts roots that poke holes into the intestinal membrane

4- Those holes allow proteins to slip through before they've been completely digested.

5- The yeast also gets through changing once again and travelling to various parts of the body, from toe nails to the sinuses.

6- The waste 80 products from the fungus including formaldehyde poisons the blood and tissues.

7- The immune system reacts to the food particles in the bloodstream, generating allergies.

8- With continued abuse from the toxins, the immune system can turn on the body and create one or more of 100 different auto-immune diseases

9- The 80 toxins create utter havoc over time in all sorts of ways, from Alzheimer's, to cancer, to heart attacks and diabetes, to name a few.

10- The over abundant yeast creates hunger for sugar and weight gain.

So there are three things that need to be fixed.

1- The friendly bacteria needs to be restored.

2- The holes in the intestinal lining need to be patched up.

3- The yeast/fungus needs to be killed off.

It seems that my recipe does those three things, which helps get rid of the cravings.

So rather than being a shotgun approach, it is targeted to the three most important parts of yeast overgrowth.

It seems to work without trying to follow a bunch of restrictions. That tells me it is getting to the nexus of the problem. At some point, the cravings just go away, bam! just like that.

One factor that my recipe doesn't account for is heavy metal complications. If that is an issue, then a heavy metal cleanse would need to be done.

When it comes to a parasite cleanse, Renew Life makes some excellent products, so I'd probably try that one.

The best to you.

have been on the candida diet since july2011. have read of so many different things to that im confused. your method seems so easy that its to good to be true? i have been told to take omega III, vit a. vite. vitd3 b complex niacin vit c detox tea aloe vera 6tbspn coconutnoil daily caprylic acid, oil of oregano probiotics. digestive enzymes. the list goes on and on. so heres what im doing: five pysillium husk tabs. 2 cap of triphala probiotics blu green algae caprylic acid before bedtime. in the am. probiotics. aloevera juice bluegreen algae caprylic acid. i take caprylic acid as close to 3 times daily as possible. my deit is pretty much veggies. sprouted and dehydrated almonds seafood no more than 2 tmes daily. if i eat an offending food, bloating! i do feel better and have trimmed down to the point i can trim no more. but i still have a bit of a belly issue. do you think i should try your method full strength? ive already gone through twrrible die off reactions in the first the four weeks of the candida diet. have not had many since. my problem is constipation. a lot of the supplements i was taking was for chronic constipation that i have dealt with all of my life and continue to do so. im sure i have leaky gut and i do not digest food. so i know im not absorbing many if any nutrients. my next step was a probiotic enema. a disgusting liver/gallbladder flush. my hair falls out because of this yeast. so basically my question is do feel this would work for me? i feel i could do this full strength because of how long ive been on such a restricted diet but should i? and please point me to your suggestions for a parasite cleanse

Hi Kphilo,

Threelac makes a great product. The thinkg about my recipe and perhaps the Threelac is that you don't 'give up' the foods you want - you just stop wanting the bad stuff. It has no appeal.

Because today's livestock has antibiotics in it, it might be necessary to redo my recipe from time to time unless you replace regular meat with organic antibiotic and steroid free meats.

There is no way that candida and fungus can ever become immune to olive leaf extract or caprylic acid. I'm not just saying that. It's based on what I learned from writing "The Doctor Who Cures Cancer." It's covered in Chapter 5.

The best to you.

Kphilo 5 years ago

Hi Kelley,

I have read through most of this thread and ordered/am now taking the regimen. I just stumbled across the Threelac website and am wondering what you think about that. The authors insist that yeast becomes resistant to anti-fungals and most products don't "finish the job" leaving you vulnerable to yeast as soon as you attempt to eat any fruit or carbs. Wondering if I will need to eat this restrictive diet for the rest of my life. It's better than the mental/physical symptoms I have been suffering for my whole life, but not sure if it's realistic in the long run.

Hi Sean,

I like Dr. Wong's Zymessence. He's knowledgeable, so based on that, the product is probably effective.

By adding the glutamine you'd be covering the part he leaves out. I don't have an opinion on the licorice root, simply because I'm not well versed enough.

I know it is good for healing ulcers. The DGL form doesn't raise blood pressure, while licorice might.

roxe7 5 years ago

Kelley, years ago, Nature's Way produced caprylic acid that was manufactured to release in the small intestine AFTER where the liver emptied into it... since any other type of caprylic acid would be very quickly negated by the liver. That stuff REALLY worked!! My yeast at that time was so bad I could only take one capsule a day cuz of horrific die-off. I think they were 650mg caps. Sadly the FDA found out about this product that worked wonders and stopped Nature's Way from selling it :( Now I use organic coconut oil rubbed on my legs. It has several acids in it that help with envelope viruses plus the caprylic acid. Perhaps this will get the acid to my intestines before it reaches the liver... don't know about that tho.

I get my olive leaf extract (the whole entire leaf) from the Seagate Co. in San Diego and it is so powerful that I use a 4oz bottle filled with water and empty two capsules into it and shake it good. I keep it in the frig, and rub it into my feet twice a day.

Right now I'm starting to use a Vitamix to make lots of green smoothies, etc. I find when I get green smoothies each day, my food cravings for junk food turn into food cravings for smoothies!!

I just really wish there would be something that could be done about getting the FDA off Nature's Way caprylic acid, cuz that stuff was wonderful and powerful!

Thanks so much for all you do in sharing your knowledge for a better lifestyle and feeling good! God bless you!

Hi Isabel,

There are tests that one can do to evaluate how much mercury we have including hair analysis. On the internet I've seen detox foot pads* that people have gotten analyzed for mercury and other heavy metals.

Mercury can be in the blood or in the tissues. So a blood test wouldn't necessarily be a good way to test for it. From my readings, it appears that mercury can hide out in the tissue for months, or even years, and then show up again. That means a person might do a thorough cleanse and feel great for a while and then have another episode months or years later.

I don't know the answer to your other question for sure. But the damage from mercury, as long as it is still there, could mean you'd want to continue with my recipe until the mercury is gone.

One way to know would be if the cravings start to slip back.

*I've tried various detox footpads. Some work well and others are worthless. It was the expensive ones that worked. The best one was Kinotakara.

The best to you.

Hi Kelley,

FIrst of all, thank you for your prompt and thorough response from 3 weeks ago. I started the regimen almost a month ago. I had incredibly bad and strange die-off. At one point I had one side of my face swollen for a couple of days. It was interesting to say the least.

Now, 4 weeks into it and adding the mercury detox which you recommended, I am feeling 100%. I don't remember a time when I could eat normally and feel good afterwards. You are right to say that the sweet cravings go away, as they have in the last week or so. It is unbelievable and I am forever grateful for you and your blog.

I have only one question. I started the regimen 4 weeks ago and with the mercury detox 3 weeks ago. You mentioned that I should do the mercury detox for at least 6 months. When should I stop with the yeast regimen? Should I continue it along with the mercury detox for the entire six months ?

Thanks again for "saving my life" =)).....

Have a wonderful day!!

Hi Rockpile,

The effortless refers to not having to make any will power to avoid eating sugar laden foods and the like.

for some reason the instructions that tell you how much to take appears to be missing. That is a real head scratcher as to how that happened.

It's too late now to write that up. Let's see if I can do it tomorrow.

You'll remember better to do it as the mind becomes unclouded from yeast overgrowth. ;-)

I'd take some goldenseal and echinacea. They can be purchased as a combo. Lemon juice in water can also be excellent.

The best to you.

Hi Kelley

I've been doing your recipe for a week now and some of my issues have improved, but I have a sore throat and cold symptoms. I read that this can be a side effect from the Glutamine powder. I wonder if it causes die off or whether it's some other issue? I can't get intestinew where I live.

regards.

Hi Isabel,

The die off can do that. I'd slow down with the olive leaf extract and caprylic acid, alternating one each day.

Another factor can be mercury. Yeast protects us from the worst for mercury toxicity to a certain extent, or at least it tries to. So if I continued to experience bloating as time passed, I'd do a mercury detox.

There are various recipes for mercury detox. One would be to take broken cell chlorella along with 100 mgs. of alpha lipoic acid each day.

How long it would take to get the mercury out is anybody's guess. I'd cleanse for six months to see how that works. Sometimes some of it will hide in fat cells or tissues for a few years and then there can be another release.

The best to you.

Hi Kelley,

I've been reading the posts for over a week and started the program about a week ago. I was told that I am candida free, but I do have an overgrowth of fungus. Since I started the program I have had strange flare ups in my body. I had what seemed like bumps over my eyes, itching and I've been extremely bloated (although this has been going on for years)..... The flare ups are gone as of today, but the bloating is still intense. Is this normal??

Also, do you think the program works for any type of fungal/yeast overgrowth or is this strictly for candida sufferers?

I have been juicing twice a day so that I don't overeat. I feel very hungry lately and hope that this is just a phase. I am also drinking a cup of coffee every three days or so and wanted your opinion on coffee.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful information and for constantly helping those of us in need!!

Isabel

Hi Steve,

I'd start with one each of the olive leaf and the caprylic acid each day, taken at anytime during the day with food.

I'd take 2 of the PB-8's any time, and 5 grams of glutamine twice a day. If I were using IntestiNew, which I prefer over the glutamine, in place of glutamine, I'd follow the instructions on the container. I prefer the powder over the capsules.

The best to you.

I would love to try this. Is there a place I can find more specifics (like how much olive leaf per day and do I take the probiotics simutaneausly/later that day after olive leaf). Just in general specific amounts and when. thanks

Hi Sean,

I'm not familiar with the product other than taking a quick look when asked the other day.

The best to you.

To the guy who ordered Candiclear 5 above! Thats a very expensive product I know of, main ingrediant is food grade diatomaceous earth correct? You can get that alone for so much cheaper and add some of the things Kelley recommends as well like Olive leaf! Save some money there. Kelley have you heard of that before? I have been on it a month and it seems to be working for me (It is mainly used for Parasites in the gut). I would still do your program though as it seems geared toward systemic yeast as well, Candiclear might be more for dysbosis in the gut and not the whole body.

Hi Kelley,

I have just ordered a product called Candiclear5 and will begin my cleanse as soon as it gets here. I believe I have had an overgrowth of yeast going on 30 plus years now! I have lost weight only on low carb diets and it was a battle to keep it off.

I just could not understand how I could gain 10 lbs in a few days. My weight swings were legendary!

Once I discovered Atkins I was amazed at how the carvings went away- but all it would take is that one little drink or sweet back into my system and I would bloat up like the stay puff marshmallow man! I remember once I was sick with an infection of the lungs and could only eat broth and crackers - and that was just enough to start the whole craving again- and within that month put on 27lbs! I was blown away!

I am super hopeful as this indication of cleanse (candiclear5) seems to be the perfect combination of all phases...here is the site on it (I have no ties to this at all!)

- what do you think? Have you ever heard of it or tried it?
