Tension Tamer Herbal Tea
Herbal Tea with Eleuthero Herb Relieves Stress
Anyone living in this world of turmoil is subject to experience the symptoms of stress. You may not worry about the occasional onset of stress, but certainly, if you suffer from frequent or severe stress, you are wise to visit your doctor to identify the source of your stress and identify ways to manage your stress. Some symptoms of stress include psychological disturbances such as, loss of concentration, loss of memory, headache, hopelessness, anxiety, frustration, depression, and anger. Stress can also appear in the form of physical ailments, such as high blood pressure, heart palpitation, heart attacks, and even death.
When left unmanaged, the symptoms of stress can be overwhelming. However, if you suffer from mild symptoms of stress you may be able to manage your stress on your own.
I have been fortunate to have discovered a tea that is blended with ingredients which have been instrumental in helping me cope with the occasional onset of stress. In the tea isle of my local grocery store I found a product called Tension Tamer® by Celestial Seasonings. I brewed a cup of this tea and within fifteen minutes of drinking the tea, my stress was gone. Moreover, I felt a sense of calmness about me and was able to end the day in a peaceful state of mind. While my stress was relieved within minutes after drinking the tea, I am open to considering that my tension relief could be a result of simply taking time away from a complex day to make a simple cup of tea.
The primary ingredient in Tension Tamer tea is Eleuthero. Eleuthero is another name for Siberian Ginseng. Siberian Ginseng has been used for centuries in China and Russia. Siberian Ginseng is thought to stimulate the immune system. It is also used in what is called an “adaptogen”. An adaptogen is a substance that is believed to help the body cope with mental or physical stress. Many studies have been conducted, and although nothing has been confirmed definitively, Russian studies showed that Siberian Ginseng (eleuthero) was a significant factor in helping people maintain or restore mental alertness in volunteers who took Siberian Ginseng as compared to those who took a placebo.
Siberian Ginseng can be found in many forms, such as liquid and solid extracts, powers, capsules, and tablets. You can also find Siberian Ginseng as dried or cut root, such as is used in the Tension Tamer tea.
Although Siberian Ginseng is considered a safe herb, like anything that has the ability to alter your mental or physical body, you should take Siberian Ginseng with caution. Siberian Ginseng is not recommended for children or if you are undertaking any kind of medication. And, there may be side effects, such as high blood pressure, insomnia, drowsiness, vomiting, headache, confusion, irregular heart rhythm, and nosebleed. If you are under any kind of care from a health care physician, I recommend that you consult with your health care physician prior to consuming Siberian Ginseng.
Consider Siberian Ginseng (eleuthero) to help tame stress, however, remember to drink responsibly if you are under the care of a physician.
